Yesterday we had our session, turned out great, but one of the moments from sessions was this one. You remember? Yeah, that noise. Yeah, but look, they made it into a meme now. So, Chicago, look at this. The moment when someone zapped, it goes to rocks or during panel. Look, look. So, I did joke. Yeah, I mean, it was a crazy noise. Yeah, it was. So, rock

star, buddy, we're here in Costa Rica, at Nosterica, what an event. You've been, you've done a lot of work organising this, which I'm very, very grateful for. We've got all these interesting people in this small space, this beautiful place and the exchanging of ideas, great talks, great workshops. It reminds me very much of the, you're at the Lightning Hack Days, weren't you? The first Lightning Hack

Days. Yeah, I actually, I actually even told Jeff that this will be like Berlin, but better. And he was like nah, but he's biased. So, yeah, shout out to Jeff, one of the best organiser. Oh, yeah, man, they now, they don't know the Germans. Yeah, full mouth. I mean, yeah, I mean, it's, it's hard to beat like a tropical jungle for a venue, isn't it? Berlin's

nice, of course, but we are in a tropical jungle. What's your biggest thing to take away then, so far, like watching the talks and workshops? What's been the thing you're kind of taking away from this conference, if you'd describe it to someone after, after attending? I mean, it's turning into what I hope it will turn into and that is like a new beginning. Like, like we

talk about those Lightning Hackathons, they spawned like so many, they brought people together and spawned so many teams, so many companies. And that's what I'm seeing. And it's happening here at Nostraica. People are getting to know each other. They're like, getting to know new projects. For example, I had no idea that arc, see like Ben arc, but arc that client is so far away like Telegram.

I'm actually hoping that next Nostar conference, we can even use that instead of Telegram because for this conference, we dependent a lot on one Telegram. Like Telegram client in Nostar, is it? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, you see like there is so much content you didn't see that session. Yeah, and it was demoed yesterday. First session was Marty from like Iris. He had amazing session and then after

that arc. And I was like, this is what I wanted to build. Yeah. Yeah, being in a jungle. Like this is what I wanted to build, but I just didn't have time to like look someone did even a better job. So yeah, for me, it's all about that. And my friend, I mean, we're all coming together on conference, conference styling, but, you know, coming together creating

these new teams, these new projects, and I can't wait to see where it will take us next. I agree, man. I mean, like I would say like two out of every three people I speak, I've spoken to maybe more. Maybe it's like four out of five, I'm a building actively building the project. And they've got some new client. Some new Nostar client. And that's them about

that. But yeah, and like with the market stuff, man, like we thought we were leading the way pioneering with this Nostar market stuff. But as it turns out, like, there's a large group of people who are all working on similar projects. And talking to them, we've talking about how we can make it interoperable. That's the beautiful thing about Nostar, isn't it? So you can... Yeah. And

this conference and it's amazing. It's like all of the things that I'm going to do. Not all of them, but like a lot of them are switching to Nostar, which is another validation point. And for me, like big takeaway is it? Okay, we have areas in which we will go and which we will grow. Okay, that's the next big group, I guess, on Nostar. So is

that something? That's one of the things you're excited about. You're seeing... Because I mean, I met a guy who's been working for years on this project. And it's based on Skullbot, the protocol. But Skullbot, I mean, it's great, but it's very slow. One of his issues. And now the retrofitting Nostar in there, and you've already got like a pretty well-developed project. They've been working on for

a couple of years, and they're just going to get... And the great thing about Nostar is it is easy to kind of retrofit into things. But what do you think is the next stage for Nostar? Because we're seeing the talent... ...tik loans, and we're seeing now telegram, and we've got the market stuff. Like, how do you think... Why do you think we'll be in the next

six months from now with Nostar? I hope we continue this trajectory. I really try to capture in the session that I asked you and Fia Jeff to join in. Because I wanted to... For you to tell that story of Nostar Genesis and set the foundation so that people see like a lot of people think, oh, Nostar... ...only succeeded in December of 2022. No, they're like waves

of people. And some of them we didn't even get to see here at Nostar, but hopefully we'll see them at the next one. Super test net. Yeah, yeah. But then, somewhere like we have, William came in and just created this client on iOS that people started using it. And then... Yeah, I think Damus was really... Yeah. Fia Jeff said that in the interview didn't he said

that he was very pivotal moment. That's when people really... ...he brought a lot of new users, because they could just download and happen. Yeah, so for me it's real like in six months, I don't expect that we will take over the world, but with Nostar. And then we'll see the hashtag. But that we will be in a better place and hopefully exponentially better than the place

we are at now. Yeah. Is it all this energy of people coming together? Well now... I don't know. Okay, let's start using art clients instead of telegram. I feel like... Yeah, let's create that critical mass. So that's really my hope. Because for me, as someone who has been in startups for over a decade now in the US, they immigrate to US only startups. Yeah. That's what

I always see in a successful startup. Is it... You need a leader, like you need a company, especially if it's new category as Nostar, you need that company to set the stage, set the pace, bring mainstream in. And I do hope like maybe Damus is that company, maybe people will invest in it, they will become bigger. So I would say to TLDR it, if we see

big company based on Nostar, get funded and start to be really successful in the next six months, that will be dream come true for me. I mean, as far as I can see, I also think Casseclismic happens. There's such momentum and there's such energy. And projects like Damus, they're so far ahead. I don't want to be too hopeful, but I really can't see what can go

wrong. Unless there's some Casseclismic issue, which none of us have seen, which I think is very unlikely, because the minds here are really quite incredible. So you've been in the US for 10 years doing startups though. Wow. How is it as strike? I mean, pigs are as good as they were ever with strike. I mean strike. And Nostar stuff coming into strike end point is sneaking

in. Listen, now that you mention it, we need to look into it because... People in strike, we're not started off from Nippo 5, you can have rockstar at strike.me. That's maybe a good point that all the companies can integrate with. And then you as a Roger Vier of Nostar. You just take over with Nostar.com. By the way, we already agreed. I get R at Nostar.com. Yeah,

if you wanted. So whatever you wanted. There we go. No, listen. After this video, we're hoping to give people more information from the Strika. All you're going to get are requests for Nostar.com Nipps. That's true. Well, there's going to be a price. I've been told by my good friend, Hip, rockstar. He's a very successful capitalist. I can't give these things away for free. There we go.

Maybe that's the successful company in the next six months. But to get back to what can go wrong and to get back to strike... Let's first finish strike. Zapping functionality, I think it will

be something that all lightning companies do. And that one will be huge. And we already can't do that with strike. But I'm going to explore that more within strike. Strike, I mean, obviously, it's like the wallet which is built for the world of normal users. So, as Bitcoin is, and we're exposed to the technology, we then we can't see past some of our own technobabble. So

you end up with complicated UIs and lots of different functionality and upspotting all these different protocols. And although, like God, I would love for something like LNU after being strike, I can really understand why there's very conservative approach to implementing things like that. Because before you know it ends up this messy environment, which normal people are going to be scared of. It's like everything has its

pros and cons. And every action you take creates... Yeah, good things. It creates... Yeah, there is some trade-off. So when it comes to that, yeah. We were quite conservative, but I don't know. I personally... I like LNU. I like those pragmatic protocols and fear Jeff, seeming like he can't help himself, but create pragmatic protocols that get well adopted. So... If you're going to... Yeah, yeah, that's

possible. That's what I'm trying to explain. It's true. And... Yeah, when it comes to LNU, yeah, definitely. Some people are hoping that they will be like, oh, it will be their LNU or L or Bolt 12. Like I think at this point there they will need to coexist. I agree. And... Yeah. Looking forward to that. In PTC Face-Earth, because you can have modules and plugins in

PTC Face-Earth. Is anyone actively building NOSTA? I swear I've heard some Wisp specific things. Yeah, cool. Cooke's bought a built NEP-05, but we at BTC Face-Earth, we are looking if... What can we do regarding NOSTA? It's just... We're at the point where there are like so much demand on project time. Like it's one of most popular open source projects. So it's about organizing the roadmap in

a scalable and sustainable way. And yeah, going from there. I have tons of ideas. Like one of... If I may, like, yeah, go in direction of... One of the things I would love is integrate ZApps with our crowdfunding. Oh, wow, yeah, that'd be cool. It's like, hey, you know, I am sending notes on NOSTA in support of this crowdfunding. Whenever you ZApp, me, it goes towards

crowdfunding. That's great. Yeah. And... Yeah, features like that. And yeah, by expect, yeah, they will come on our route. So we're going to go to the roadmap this year. Like when exactly we'll need to talk with main PM Pavlaniks to see how he's helping arrange the roadmap. It's pretty incredible when you think of it. Like, because obviously there was this... People actively tried to not entangle

Bitcoin with NOSTA early on. Inevitably, most of the people working with NOSTA are Bitcoiners or Bitcoin affiliates almost. And it's not necessarily a bad thing that people are building Bitcoin into NOSTA. It's actually really quite exciting to think that how much NOSTA can benefit Bitcoin. It's exposing people who go into a social media platform, like Snort, for example, and then they can start zapping people. Like...

I was always wondering what comes after Twitter, because Twitter was instrumental. And like... I guess all of us kind of unconsciously had that migration from, you know, if you were in Bitcoin in 2018, you were in Bitcoin talk. And then you were in Bitcoin talk, you migrated to Reddit. And from Reddit, you migrated to Bitcoin Twitter. And now, where do you go from there? Gosh, yeah,

that's right. It's like Bitcoin was like very Twitter-centric. And it wasn't just because Tractose, he was a Bitcoin, I think. And he became a Bitcoiner, in my view. Right? But during that period, man. Yeah, like, as we were, right away, one of my favorite hobbies is like going back and like... What are now big accounts with hundreds of thousands of followers on Twitter. Yeah. Like, going

back to their tweets from 2018, like... Seeing them scream into void with like zero likes or retweets. Yeah. Like these people. But Bitcoin Twitter really built up people. The main question was like, we always knew... That's not where it will end. Like, we need another platform. Yeah. And that's what NOSTA is really becoming. It's okay. projects on... ...Oster and are figuring out... ...you know, should I take VC investments? How should I monetize? How do I make this from... ...I'm coding for fun and having like... ...you know, spending my savings... ...into... ...I am participating in this big protocol that's growing... ...and I want to create sustainable business. I mean, he's a great support. And this is for the people... ...who have their projects...

...and they want to build in something more... ...one of the best things about coming to... ...Noster Eaker, is I think... ...you're exposing... ...there are some VC's... ...there's some people who've been... ...doing businesses for a... ...big, long while. Yeah. Like yourself. And then you've got... ...there's this mass... ...fast wealth of knowledge... ...which people can learn from all... ...how... ...how do you develop the free and... ...opposite project
