that truth prevails over silence is truly awe-inspiring but why do these brave souls endure such Horrors tirelessly why do they refuse to conform to false narratives or seek truth in a web of lies and deceit the answer is simple yet profound they do it for truth itself they do it to uncover answers to questions we didn't even know we needed to challenge those responsible and to

awaken Society to issues that deeply impact Our Lives take a moment to imagine a world without boundless journalism we would remain oblivious to the ease with which criminals operate nationally and internationally numerous investigations have exposed millions of criminals who have done a number of rather obscene things to me journalism isn't just about exposing truths or reaching an audience it is also about increasing awareness and knowledge

of the people the people any journalist main audience is the people the people who receive information and the people who are affected by it the power of Journalism lies in its ability to give voice to the voiceless to shed light on the darkest of corners and to ensure that truth prevails over silence foreign to punish those who fulfill their professional duties would we imprison doctors for

saving lives or Architects for designing homes yet journalists who embody strength during war and other tragedies continue to lose their lives at the hands of Special Forces the double standard between countries is evident and journalism exposes the lack of equity within our International justice system and it exposes these discrepancies demanding accountability and fairness a free press empowers individuals to form their own opinions and grants them

the ability to believe and think independently emotion-driven news May stir our hearts but when it comes to presenting facts journalism must strive for objectivity and Truth as Walter lipmann wisely said there can be no higher law in journalism than to see the truth and to shame the devil journalism continue faces the issue of non-objectivism and being in the era of social media has only made it

worse it is important that people understand that being objective is the equivalent of Truth and sure journalists have the responsibility of ensuring that the information we receive is true but we the consumers of information have to be our own fact Checkers now more than ever today I call upon each and every one of you young minds full of curiosity and potential to recognize the value of

a free press the eradication of Truth affects us all and it denies us the rights to make informed decisions and inhibits our ability to challenge the status quo we must defend the principles of a free press advocate for justice and seek Equity within our societies embrace the power of your voice question everything and seek the truth that Lies Beneath the surface support to those who dare
