am I going to ask you I mean I I'm down in Victoria I report on the Melbourne iback Victoria and I back the equivalent of a lot of the hearings are held in camera we know the premier has been involved in at least four possibly five separate investigations down here we've never seen him in the stand we're not getting any sense of what he might have
been asked or phone recordings or text message none of that's in the public domain I do think there's a balance between what we see and what we we're not allowed to see what's held in camera but it seems that we're all one way in New South Wales and all the other way how do we get the balance right yes I agree with Chris that some of
those intensely personal uh uh investigations with MS berajikli and really should have been in in camera and then a finding made a discrete finding made that there that there was a relationship no one had to hear all of that and and watch the excruciating spectacle of things being revealed to Ms berajikli and when that could have been done uh as in camera in fact even some
of some of the material that was done in camera still found it say its way uh into the public space and and there was no accountability for that what heads rolled about that this is the trouble with icac all politicians are terrified of it but perhaps not until not now perhaps Premier mins has the courage to do something about this it it can't be omnipotent and
above everyone in Parliament
