Is The Travis Walton Abduction Story Real?

foreign [Music] April thank you okay the question is do you believe in flying saucers or UFOs well a Tucson group is sponsoring a gathering with Arizona's most widely known UFO abductee this weekend well that's Travis Walton it's the 40th anniversary of his abduction in the White Mountains now you may remember his his book and the movie made about it called Fire in the Sky kind of

scary yeah it was a close encounter of the worst kind and that's changed his life and we started stayed in the truck but derailed my life and I wish I could have it back well KGUN9 talked with Travis a few years ago and has feelings about that encounter his feelings apparently are now changing welcome my friends welcome to another paranormal Highway today we're going to be

discussing a person that growing up you kind of either Believe it or you don't and there's a reason why bringing up this person this week I'm bringing up Travis Walton because the person I'm bringing up just had an interview with Travis Walton so I want to see when I bring up a guy named Anthony of unidentified S4 I want to find out from him what was

his thoughts of the Travis Watton story before the interview and what is his thoughts after he interviewed the person did it change did he learn something new because Travis Walton if you don't know 1975 he was basically abducted went to the sky they did things to him five days later they found him the whole crew was cutting wood just working when the event Arizona forest it

was near dusk on November 5th 1975. a truckload of Forestry workers were making their way home when they saw something strange to one side of the road they stopped and one of them Travis Walton got on to take a closer look [Music] as he got nearer something happened that made his companions panic [Music] was hovering up here just below the tops of the trees and it

was about 20 25 feet in diameter what he saw was a bright object hovering in midair when I got up about here I crossed down behind a log and I could hear a sound coming from and it was kind of a very strange mechanical sound and I was kind of wrestling with the idea of being so close to this I'd expected it to take off you

know and I'd run and running up here I I figured this was my last chance to you know to see this thing up close but I decided I'd better get the hell out of there and as I raised up and turned to go I felt this numbing shock and blacked out the guys in the truck said they saw this brilliant beam come out of the bottom

of the crowd it hit me in the head in the chest and knocked me flying through there so throughout history you know the question is did it really happen in 1993 the movie Fire in the Sky came out now that's when I first learned oh the Travis walking story because you got to remember people back in the 80s and 90s social media wasn't like it is

today you know they were getting to the point where there's 24 hours CNN news and all that but it wasn't like back then you had channels talking about UFOs so the chances of you even hearing about Travis Walton's story before the movie is probably 10 15 especially when you're limited with TV because not everybody even had cable back then you know cable came more popular in

the 90s where everybody could afford it so when I learned when I saw a finance guy I was like wow this can't be true is it true goes based on a true story so you know that's when I went to the library because back then that's your social media you had to go to the library to learn about people and learning about these these wood cutters

taking a line detector test so we wanted to know just how accurate are those tests 13 news hour reporter Dana Smith is in the studio with a closer look at how they work new at five is wvec Channel 13 the best news station you ever worked for yes I decided to put myself in the hot seat to find out if polygraph tests really work polygraph at

zaminer David Goldberg of executive protection group polygraph service says for the majority of people they are accurate but it all boils down to who the examiner is and the type of questions asked so you don't get a false pass or a false fail they do work and they're about 98 to 99 accurate and all of them passing but then they had to take it again and

one of them failed but then I learned he fell because he was actually lying no I learned that a piece of equipment fell off his finger so it wasn't that he felt because of the questioning he felt because a technical issue with the machine and then I start studying because you hear it from people all the time well it's easy to pass a lie detector test

really it is you know you look at the tistics it's not that easy to pass a line detector test I mean you've got to be a complete believer in your lie in your lie to pass it and you're going to tell me these four or five uh wood cutters that they learn how to beat a line detector test in 1975 I mean we know more about

lie detector tests now where we can study it more and maybe try to learn the ability to to uh fake it but then but then later on they had the brother who picked them up a brother and a friend who picked them up they even did the line detector test and they all passed everybody passed so are they lying now of course in the movie the

movies exaggerate the story we know that but the story they all passed it they saw the ship he got taken up what happened on that ship now that's of course that's another story you could question but if you wasn't up that ship how do you survive five days out in the woods I mean it is there's so many things to think about and then just recently

recently interviewed Travis Walton because we recently had a talk on my show and identified us for a couple weeks ago we were having a discussion about uh you had gone back to the forest many years later and I believe uh it was mentioned that a a tree core sample was taken from where the the craft was hovering over uh would you happen to know whatever happened

to those tree core samples uh that you guys had taken well um I had some of them at my house oh wow really yeah so so what exactly happened to the tree uh the portion of it had a uh like a sporadic growth in the area that the uh an Abrupt increase in the thickness of the growth rings from that point forward today so it was

a lasting effect you only get one drink per year right accelerated or thickened growth range can't win on for quite some time after the initial proximity of The Craft that's actually corroborated by Tom reads Berkshire UFO encounter where the corn where the object was near due to over two feet long the actual ears of corn well yeah well The Accelerated growth in the case of these

trees was surprising or let's say counter-intuitive because you would expect radiation to just kill any living thing but if there's research online showing that that's not the case even in the case of the Chernobyl accident the thing there was some accelerated growth yeah as of right now I'm a Believer now I'm gonna listen to them in if maybe my thoughts would change I don't know but

the first question I want to ask Anthony is before you interview Travis Walton what was your thoughts of Travis Walton and then after you interview them did it change did it stay the same you know so so tell us what do you think about the Travis Walton Story I mean like anyone else when you first hear a story like that you're a little on the fence

till all the details come in right but uh having my own UFO experience um the way he told the story it felt like he was being truthful from the get now granted he could be misremembering some details or you know not have everything narrowed down 100 because of uh the sheer amount of fear that went through the whole situation um and when you you're very frightened

and you're you're in an emotional state like that you're gonna misremember some things but I think he was uh very honest and when I spoke to him I mean you can I could just read him that everything he was saying seemed truthful to me and I'm a trained Observer so but was your thoughts differently before then after you interview him did it change like I said

uh prior to meeting Travis um I thought the story uh I thought the story was true this whole time I didn't know how much of it uh was 100 true but like I said after speaking with him uh pretty much everything he told me seemed on point because I was a Believer then I'm a Believer now yeah because no you you yourself been a police officer

when you get con when somebody takes the line line detector test this is the polygraph test line detector test polygraph you know I always hear people oh you can beat those but but percentage-wise what you known are they really truly can they be easily be no they cannot you have to believe you're alive 110 percent you have to keep your heart rate at a consistent Pace

while you're lying which is very difficult um in I don't know you would have to be a trained BS artist to get through that it can be done I mean Central Intelligence agents and spies do it all the time but for a regular person like Travis I can't see him uh beating that test especially with a seasoned you know veteran doing the polygraphy well let's say

let's say somehow he did but what would be the percentage of all the rest of them who pass it you know what I mean I mean if you got one person it won't happen I don't think it I don't know if there's any evidence not evidence but anything that came out and said yeah these five six people actually somehow beat the test like but you know

they're probably like I said there are people who have but what are the chances all those people got together you have a better chance of you have a better chance of hitting the lottery walking out with your lottery check and then getting struck by lightning right after you hit the lotto I mean that's what the odds would be to get a little bit more in depth

like like how does key evidence of this whole thing my opinion is the line detector test the the polygraph test does it read like when somebody asks you a question is it reading how your body is reacting to the question how does it you know how do you know how does it really work to try to determine that you're lying or telling the truth now we're

going to run a few tests this is a simple lie detector I'll ask you a few yes or no questions and you just answer truthfully do you understand yes [Music] yeah a polygraph test measures and Records uh the physical response of the subject you know while he or she answers a series of questions so you're strapped in uh with the harness of crochet chest you have

a cuff on your bicep it's reading your blood pressure rating and any movements that your body has taken and then careful analysis uh the psychologist uh will pay attention to your responses and he'll knock them down as the machine is reading your body language your blood pressure movements and if and if I remember right from studies that's why in the beginning they kind of ask a

simple questions like is this your name just just see how you read truth and how you read false yeah yeah just to make sure how you're answering it you know explain questions they're called well that's I didn't know the actual name of it and then and then um if I heard the story correctly the one who actually did end up failing the one time was because

what I what I've learned from the shot Doc and you might hear differently that one of the straps on him actually came off so one of the guys who failed I can't remember the name who failed it it was a technicality wasn't wasn't fail because of a question and then they he took it again without any technicality and he passed it the second time I did

not know that five of the six Men passed the lie detector test outright only Alan Dallas's test comes back as inconclusive Ellen actually passed the first to run through those of his tests it was inconclusive because he pulled himself loose from the machine in the last run through uh it was the one that's considered uh the the the criminal the upholstery is detected okay and not

only that you know I always assumed because the guy that had a criminal record and Travis had had an argument earlier that day um and I always assumed because they got into a fist fight and he was trying to keep that secret from the cops because if he would have told the cops yeah you know I beat Travis up this morning we had a fist fight

they would have right away made him suspect number one for killing them because they thought that somebody killed Travis they thought this crew murdered him and buried his body in the woods yeah there is a pretty good shock doc that's what they call a certain documentary on the Discovery plus and Travis is actually on there and like I said I don't know how truthful a lot

of these dunks are because we're there with the test but they said the only reason he failed because of technicality and it was not I believe in question and that's why they had him take it again and of course when he took it again you know he passed it with full colors because nothing came off so now I believe it yeah so if you take that

all out every single one of them did ended up passing and they all have to take and another part of the story is they took the test like 10 15 years later and they still passed it they took multiple polygraphies yeah and I'm not saying that's the only evidence of why it's true not and of course according to a lot of these documentaries that you know

years years later of course when the story gets more popular because the movies and all that and you know they start doing more investigations and they did they did um examine the area where it happened and they noticed that some of the trees that are cut down or or crack whatever they notice that some of the trees had a certain growth and this growth that they

use this growth as a testing site as one on the nuclear sites that um I can't remember what country it was I did a nuclear you're talking about Chernobyl yes seven interesting facts about the Chernobyl disaster 1. the Chernobyl disaster Remains the only level seven incident on the international nuclear event scale making it the biggest man-made disaster of all time 2. the dead trees and fallen

leaves near Chernobyl don't decay 3 200 tons of radioactive materials are still inside the reactor 4 in the contaminated area researchers have planted him to remove toxins from the soil in a process called phytor remediation 5. the radiation leak caused the nearby Force to turn a bright shade of Ginger which is why it was named the red Forest 6. there is a fungus species growing on

the Chernobyl reactor that feeds off the radiation 7. there is a population of radioactive wild boars in Germany caused by the Chernobyl disaster and their numbers are rising and they saw that in those radiation the tree had a growth almost exactly like they did right there where the site of Travis Walter may not taken now of course I didn't you know I haven't looked at those

papers anything they hand me the papers I wouldn't honestly know what I'm looking at but if those papers are honestly true so you got everybody who passed the test we do have some some evidence of growth all these years later I mean I don't know man what you're talking about is Travis had gone back many years later to the location where the UFO dropped him off

in the woods and before that UFO took off it was hovering around a group of trees and he went back many years later and took core samples from the trees with that UFO that dropped them off was hovering and those trees had accelerated growth ring growth rates tree rings when you cut them down and count the Rings those Rings grow one inch per year well these

Rings had grown like 10-15 times the amount in every single year since that incident had happened due to the sheer amount of radiation that that craft was dumping into the atmosphere next to those trees so that's that's another big indicator for me that something really did happen there yeah you know that was radiation wise and it was only equivalent to what had happened at Chernobyl in

Russia not not a Twist a Twist of the story the part when he explains when he was on the inside seeing these things doing whatever they're doing but later on in the story on the ship he sees a thing standing with a suit on and when he goes when he's walking walking down this tunnel the people that he sees are looking human inside of a suit

the humans and it just makes me wonder I mean I don't know how crazy this is could it possibly be you got taken up but the the ship was an American made some kind of a ship new experimental and they took him to experiment I'm just trying to think of outside the box but what if it's not that could it be this why couldn't it be

some kind of a a secret is what had happened he got blasted with that beam of light that beam of light he believes tore him apart when he was brought up on the craft for examination the beings that had him at that time could not allegedly put him back together again a second group came in and made contact took Travis put him aboard a second craft

with those beings who were like the Nordic palladian looking beans blonde hair very human looking they took him and put him back together again and after a few days I bought that aircraft where he had the opportunity to heal he was released so if it wasn't for the second ship he probably just would have been dead on that ship so that is so interesting it was

you know I'm just trying to make connection like like okay well well if it's not an alien abduction then what else could it be I I didn't regain Consciousness very quickly I was uh very groggy and in a lot of pain but when I could finally Focus my eyes I saw these creatures standing over me which just flipped me out immediately I was pretty hysterical I

was screaming all kinds of things out and they started towards me and I and I grabbed a thing off of the table there and uh lashed out at him and they stopped they just kind of put their hands up like that at me and then they just turned around and left the room and uh I was afraid they'd come back so uh I was gonna try

to find a way out of there I guess I kind of assumed I was still you know or that the craft was still in here in the woods but I went looking for a way out I went into another room and I was as I was looking for a way out and another being came in and this was a very human appearing person he led me

out of this craft which appeared to be parked inside of a a larger building or a larger craft it just took me right out of there down a hallway to a room where there were some other people who looked like him they put this mask over my face it was kind of like an awesome oxygen mask thing there was no hose connected to it they put

it over my face and that was the last thing I knew I just blacked out he and I literally spoke about that he and I spoke about that whole situation that we just discussed uh about the the Nordic looking aliens the other aliens why he ended up on his second craft what happened and that's the story right out of his mouth that they gave me and

then I try to think about the times in 1975 per denial I mean there's a lot of reasons to Hulk stings because there's a lot more chances of things to get viral I mean there's so many social medias to get chances of viral Tick Tock YouTube Facebook you know you have and you and you got so many different news channels from all around the world you

have access to now in 1975 almost nobody had cable that's you know that's like a rich man's toy you only have local news channels on local TV that's only maybe an hour a day at night and maybe you know as a kid there's only four or five channels so how would you make your money back you know I'm thinking you know if you're in 1975 if

you were gonna hoax this because you want to make a huge what would be the chances of trying to make it huge I mean a book is not guaranteed you even get a book yeah I'm not saying that's the main reason why your hoax you don't hulks I'm not trying to say that's evidence or not evidence but you do got to look at the times I

mean you know the only thing I could try to compare it to is listen amberville holler came later on and that's a haunted house that's different paranormal it's probably a little bit more popular than UFOs does Betty you know the Betty story did they by any chance to make some money was no no I'm just trying to think of if they did try to follow what

before them would even give an idea that this could work because getting out of people say well you try to get out of the contract because they didn't have enough time to finish the wood yeah but trying to get out of a contract saying you're singing UFO that's a ballsy chance itself too but guys these guys were loggers that's what they are available now right and

his best friend Mike had the contract he wouldn't try to screw him over that they would never get a job for the state again yes it's not plausible and if he was if they had concocted this story to be a fabrication to make money where's the rest of the crew why are why aren't they out on the circuit making the UFO grift box with him you

know it's just Travis telling the story the other guys don't even want to be involved so if he's making all this money Travis telling this story don't you think everybody else that was involved would want some of that money if it was a hoax yeah and I'm trying to look up Barney and Betty like did they end up at the end of their abduction story make

money you know what I mean I'm trying to try to I'm just trying to find it like where will they even think about a story that could get them that story I'm sure they all made a little bit of money back then you know but nothing like they would make today when Travis goes to do one of these uh UFO conferences what does he get you

know two thousand dollars plus room board you know a plane ticket and whatever else for the conference you know it's not like they're like all right here's a 500 he has 500 Grand you're gonna come talk for the weekend you know he makes a couple thousand and then he's on his way does that three four times a year whatever it is you know so he's not

making boo-boo bucks off it no I mean that's what it is right now that's what it is now I'm sure he'd make some money what's his documentary stories today 1975 that's not available no way I don't even know I mean Comic-Con didn't really take off until the 2000s you know when when Comic-Con was actually been there since the 80s where somebody had a garage and they

had comic books so none of that guarantee Revenue was even there to even think about to attempt and you have to put that consideration right you know and all these all these like all these loggers are probably like us you know they live check by check so taking a chance like this to even to even think about this to even make money say one guy did

it in the in the crew saying we can make a book you know how long it takes to get a story out on a book in the first place you know how do these people are going to live where they're living check by check and you've got to count on that book becoming a bestseller to even for everybody to even make money I know people that

wrote five and six books right now I know people that wrote 30 and 40 books like Jim Goodell and he's not a multi-millionaire and he's a best-selling author you know what I mean so like you you to make buku bucks like that I mean you got to be the number one book being talked about in the United States or globally to be making money like that

you know it's just not happening he does have a new movie coming out though Travis they uh he is remaking the Travis Walton story on his own it will be out excuse me it is coming out soon and he's doing it just the way it happened to him no Hollywood special nothing just the way it happened to him he's putting it out there he wants the

truth to be out that's that's gonna be awesome yeah I and that's good that's good but you know but you know I will say we know Common Sense would tell a common sense person that movies do exaggerate but because of the movie like myself for myself it made you want to investigate it makes you want to go to the library to read about it wait to

speak to this guy for years I've wanted to speak to Travis but I was always working or I had something that came up and I can never make a convention or whatever finally finally thanks to UFO man I was given the opportunity of a lifetime to have a one-on-one interview with Travis I mean what more can you ask for really here's one more thing you could

ask for to have them come on your own panel you know what I mean I already agreed to do you know that's that's everything he's gonna come on you know that's that's always fun you bring him on a panel like just you know I always look at guests as sometimes I don't want a guest to come on and you know to be just surrounded by him

let him feel like he's part of the panel talk about other UFOs you know he'd love to hear his input on what he thinks what he's seen in and all that because there's so much more to explore and and all that and Anthony we do want to appreciate so so at the end of the interview when you watch his body language and all that use like

I think you said you felt that that man was talking hundred percent honestly the way you were looking at him the way he was talking and telling the story it's very nonchalant you know very you know plus he was in a noisy place he was at UFO Expo Tom reads uh UFO conference there in Roswell you know I mean he was just there being himself people

were trying to walk up to him and get autographs and stuff while he was interviewing he's like sorry I'm doing an interview right now come back later like you know it it does he just wants to tell the story correctly right he don't care about Fame and Fortune and stardom he's just there to tell his story so everybody knows the truth that that's and I could

see anybody that had an encounter like that would want to do the same to clarify you know clarify exactly what happened because people see the Hollywood dramatization of Fire in the Sky and they assume this is nonsense the movie was nonsense and he will tell you that that 90 of that movie is fabricated it's not it's not an exact portrayal of what happened there's bits and

pieces of it that are true but you know holly hollywood had to do that to drum up ticket sales you know what I mean and it's it's like a two-ed sword except they didn't nobody would see it right and and you you hope that the person has enough common sense to look into the story themselves correct you know otherwise are the other people are just popcorn

people like okay that's cool see you later next You Know Travis is the kind of guy that literally you know travels with his guitar and when he's at a conference he's got free time he's there hanging out with regular people just They're all playing the guitar like I have photos of that at the conference you know so it's pretty cool and I want to thank Anthony

tell you a lot about the person so I'll give my final thoughts and I'll be back in a second after listening to um Anthony I'm still a Believer I mean I still think something happened I mean it's and you heard it from um the extra information that Anthony was able to give about you know the the radiation and the growth of the tree how the wood

kind of kind of like was expanding because of the radiation of the ship something happened and like you heard him said you know some things could be exaggerated some things could not I mean we're nobody's going to truly know unless you're the one who's being abducted and but also got to remember these people who also have been abducted you know they're under some kind of I

don't know their kind of medication their kind of whatever they're using on them to keep them in that spot you know it's just like you're going into the hospital and you're going under the knife you know they they pump in um medication into you so you don't feel the pain as much you know you come out of a surgery you're you're you're druggy and you know

and it takes time to come out and you know piece the stories back together when you go into that kind of a trauma so I could see where you know stories come a little more clearer when years go by because you're not in that medication state that that fogginess state when you're just in that abduction whatever you know whatever experiments they're doing on you I believe

it's taken and I believe they were doing something on them I believe the story 100 I've always believed in the story now like I said some things can be exaggerated we know that but we really do but we don't know because we weren't there and people like Anthony themselves who have had similar experience of course they're going to understand it more than wait we can never

can because we you know hopefully hopefully you don't uh get yourself abducted you know I you know because I can't see how that will be a positive experience for anybody to go through a process like that you know and now some people say Eric it's probably Americans kidnapping people you know they're doing the experiments yes there there are stories like that but I don't believe in

this case that happened it was done by the American government you know the American government is going to have this ship and they're going to pick these five not five one of the um because I would think if they're going to experiment I mean I'm just thinking and they found this guy standing there and they're gonna they're gonna take traps Walton up and if you believe

that it was the American government wouldn't they go after the other four or five because if you want to keep this a secret how are you going to keep it a secret when you're taking one person and you're leaving the other four or five people to take off in their car and do exactly what they do call the cops tell them their story you think the

government are gonna let them go but they're gonna experiment I think if it was the government they were they will all be picked up every single one of them because I can't see our government the the top Spies of the world are gonna say we're gonna abduct one person but we'll let the other four or five go because if they did let them go on purpose

they probably would have put a fake body there to get these people arrested because they wouldn't want this kind of story to get out and that's what they would do if you let the other people go that's one of the main reasons why I think the Americans could not be involved because you will not let the other four or five people just go in their car

where he could be he could have been standing in line doing autographs or 75 bucks you know he he did his interview that's got to say something about his character so guys I hope you enjoyed the story and I'm really excited to hear what you guys think of the Travis Walton story but the main part is I hope you enjoy taking this journey with us because

together we're going to find the truth on the Paranormal Highway it was a little after six in the evening we were coming out of the woods here up this road and uh we saw this glow through the trees and when we got in the opening here we could see this object hovering over here stopped the truck and uh you know everybody wow what'd it look like

how big was it how bright it was about 20 feet 25 feet in diameter about eight or ten feet thick it was a disc shaped object glowing golden color I could hear it hear hear a sound when I got up closer but um it suddenly got louder and started to move and it kind of a wobbling motion and uh that scared me and I decided you

know I'd better get out of there and so uh I raised up the goal and uh I just felt a numbing shock a kind of a just and blacked out um my co-workers the guys in the truck uh said they saw a bean come out of this craft and hit me in the head in the chest and knocked me backward the next thing I knew I

I was regaining Consciousness apparently inside the craft and I was in a great deal of pain I didn't just come too right and I'll snap two and I discovered these three creatures standing over me I lashed down at him I was backing away from him they came towards me and I was really hysterical and I screamed at him to get away from me and they just

stopped at one point there and just turned around and left the room just all at once uh I found myself on the pavement outside of the town of Heber I was laying beside the road and when I looked up I saw a craft hovering above the road there and then it just shot straight up outside well if they had evidence you know more conclusive than what

I you know am able to gather from what happened to me then I would be willing to accept it you know it's it's just that I accept the the the the the beings in a craft explanation uh because it's it just works better it fits better it's so much you know it's obvious that that's what it was to me he spent five days on a UFO

uh he thinks now there is some small time loss in there but uh for all intent and purposes he spent five days on there he did come in contact with some beings or a human-like but they weren't humans and uh he had quite an experience he said he doesn't remember anything about a blue light and the first encounter last Wednesday the blue light that they saw

he said uh at that instant he got felt like he got hit in the forehead with a baseball bat and knocked him out and he woke up he was aboard one of the crafts and uh they never spoke to him they led him around by the hand they wouldn't they wouldn't talk to him they showed him this and that and when they let him off he

woke up did he say they were friendly creatures smiled all the time friendly never harmed him they don't they were just as nice as they could be but there was a total lack of communication either verbal or mental and he said that's what made him so upset that he couldn't speak with him yeah that's what he was very very disgusted about that nervous and just plain
