Jimmy Carter's legacy extends far beyond the White House

He often joked at the Carter Center that he wanted to live longer than the last guinea warm. The Carter Center has spent decades now wiping out millions of cases of guinea warm disease, which is a terrible

affliction. And there are now, I think in 2022, there were only 13 cases in human beings of guinea warm disease. He's almost made it. He's been no stranger to the road, traveling to build homes every year for habitat for humanity and globally to monitor elections. A broker of peace between Egypt and Israel. Carter continued to put the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians as well as

concerns with Hamas and Fata's control of Palestinians in his portfolio. In 2002, he earned a Nobel Peace Prize for his post presidency efforts. That sense of mission, that sense of doing good in the world. Will continue and I think that's going to be its biggest legacy.
