Chat GPT & AI Masterclass for Restaurant Owners

what's up fellow restaurant tours Chef Marcus Giuliano here hey I am super excited today um like really excited this is an awesome time awesome topic today we're going to talk about AI chat GPT specifically there's lots of others Jasper wrightsonic which is one of my favorite Google has one um there's lots of AI technology out there artificial intelligence technology out there don't conf now you still

need with artificial intelligence you still need actual intelligence so you need both AIS to make this successful all right so but I'm going to tell you what I've been doing in the restaurant industry in my space to totally save time delegate crush it um create more awareness make my life easier all around the bottom line is if you're not using AI your competition is and they're

going to get the edge on you all right so stay tuned um or stay with me on this it might be a little longer than a normal video that I do uh but there's just so much to know about this and I want to share everything uh that's really helped me in my restaurant so um as we jump into this I'm going to go back and

forth on screens I'm going to show you actual demos that are actually working in chat gbt and how it actually works so all right so cool so um first of all certain ones are connected to Google certain ones are not connected to Google which means your information might not be correct that you're going to get back out of the AI this system gets um smarter the

more it's used and the more stuff is that's inputted um certain programs will scour Google certain won't now it's going to come a day probably not that long maybe five years people are going to say why'd you ever use Google like you can literally put prompts there like like write me um 10 places um that a family can visit that's a family family friendly area in

um southern Spain um top five Mountain destinations for Colorados for adults for families uh for spring late season skiing and it'll pop stuff out for you like wow like you don't have to go to Google anymore and search a lot of this stuff but again be careful make sure it's correct all right so um let's jump into this let's see I'm gonna switch back and forth

like I said the screens the first thing that you should be doing with AI to test it out all right don't get too advanced and don't get you know they like want to generate all this stuff for you the first basic stuff is to literally literally recreate stuff you've already created yes so check this out right here all right so here we are in a prompt

for jet GTP now first you want to go to open Ai and sign up for chat gbt it's free I have the paid version it's not much money so chat GPT here we go ready so now let's go into there and say um let's take them let's take my menu that I've already written I've already written a menu I'd have already written a menu um and

I'm but I'm going to alter my menu for Valentine's Day so here I go The Prompt I'm going to put in is rewrite a sexy seductive and provocative menu for Valentine's Day so this is a couple of pizzas I have on my menu here um nothing nothing special with a few of those pizzas let's see what happens here as it generates out some results all right

so here we go seductive Margarita Pizza tantalizing blend of luscious mozzarella succulent tomatoes and aromatic basil ignite your taste buds with each bite next Pizza provocative potato and blue cheese Mozzarella we have a sensual fig and bacon mozzarella indulged in Forbidden the lore of organic figs nitrate free bacon age balsamic right so it's getting a little bit more um descriptive for us here as we do

that right so there we go so just rewrite something that you've already done before now um you can go to your website right and this is where it's really cool so you're going to go to your website here and type in type in copy and paste I went online and I found something that um that was um that was from another restaurant so um Welcome to

our story so rewrite and make it exciting for a home page of a website now again this is work that's already been done right this is where you've already done this doesn't work that you have to generate and so this is work that's already been done so just go to your website go to the pages and just rewrite stuff so rewrite um uh so rewrite and

make exciting right so there we go the one from that little bit to that whole thing I mean exciting now if you want to dumb it down rewrite to a six th grade English level right this is really cool all right right to a sixth grade English level now it's going to pop it out in more layman's terms this is good for sixth grade English level

I find good for staff training I'm really explaining things when you think about it like newspapers newspapers are written in like eighth grade English level believe it or not like the The Washington Post in certain newspapers eighth grade eighth grade level so um let's see as this Pops that here sometimes you have glitches in it and they don't pop things out right away in two seconds

sometimes they'll pop right out like the one before um it's not that it's really thinking uh because the thinking is already done it's either my computer's slow or your computer's slow my computer's slow and or the system is uh just has a lot of users on it so yeah see this is this pumps it out here all right so there we go pumped out at a

sixth grade English level all right pretty cool huh all right now next let's see what we got for chat GPT so all right let's say we want to let's say we want to create a um social media campaign right all right so we have an event coming up this is really great so every year I do my 99 bottles of wine on the bar so I'm

going to put in here right 10x citing Instagram IG posts for the following and include hashtags so my 99 bottles of wine on the bar this is all just bullet points by the way 99 bottles of wine on the bar Grant tasting tastes 100 different wines once a year Grand annual event limited spots it will sell out wines from Italy France all over from noon to

six includes cheese and charcuterie and there you go rs3p it is just now creating me 10 different posts on social media this is for IG for Instagram okay it knows that Instagram can have 2200 characters it's throwing some emojis in there if you don't like the Emojis type in no Emojis or extra emojis and it'll totally do that and see how it's pumping out this was

pumped out ten folks it's just pumped out 10 Instagram posts for me now I can say write it as a Facebook post and I'll make it a little different all right now now here's where this gets really cool right as a Blog all right look at this now I'm going to get some SEO work in here let me post to a Blog to my website and

so I'm glad this happened here so we're going to go into a new chat right new topic we're going to start those again right and you can label your chat over on the left hand side there you can label it now it's doing this so it has a clean bill of slate here um so here we go I'm really glad that happened to show you that

it's just taking information you've already posted in there but now we have a new chat we're on to a new topic right now we're going to write this as a blog post right right as a blog post now if I would have put right as a blog post and copied and pasted that then that would have been probably different but it pulled some information up from

the more when the previous um threads on here so and of course it's eliminated Rudy's name there from there but let's take a look at this introduction unique tasting experience limited spots Unforgettable moments so right look at all this now I've got now I can do some SEO work now what about right this as an email campaign there we go right as an email campaign there

we go subject line join us for an ultimate wine tasting experience tastes 100 different wines limited spots from noon to six includes cheese cheese and charcuterie folks it just pumped out an email for us take a look at that where we go now what I always do is I say generate five exciting email subject titles and then I pick one it's already generated one for us

up in the top up here right it's already done one for us subject join us for the ultimate wine tasting experience but now it's pumping out some more for us okay um make engaging let's make them engaging look at that it's just expanded on each one made it engaging all right make exciting make engaging there you go look at that so all right so let's just

recap this what we did in a matter of two minutes three minutes we created 10 social media posts on Instagram uh we created a blog post um now we now so if you wanted what's cool we could do we can go here and say generate keywords for this blog post so lists list the keywords and I'm gonna do and just copy and paste that right in

there and that knows what I'm talking about with that keywords so I don't like all those keywords that it's doing but there are some wine Journey um yeah you know what I really don't like those so here's where the actual intelligence has to take over all right so um it's just taking some keywords that were out of here but it's not really taking my targeted keywords

so I want to Target keywords like wine tasting so um list 10 keywords for wine tastings right there we go there's some there's some better keywords better quality and now I want to put like maybe my restaurant keywords maybe my regional keywords like Mom Hudson Valley um things like that so there we go all right but essentially we created an email campaign a blog post and

10 postings in a matter of three minutes all right pretty cool huh let's jump into really more of what this AI is about and uh and really really get it so all right so you can touch up your website go to your website copy and paste and say make exciting whatever um go into your go into your social media some older posts um and touch them

up touch them some older posts you know edit copy and do it there you go what you can do is you can take an older post a picture that you had with a description or something and share it to your feed right with a new title right so your burger hasn't changed I'm assuming you have the same bird you had last year or whatever right or

the same stake ad last year or the same whatever go back find a picture at six months old hit share to feed copy and paste the old one in there make more exciting this and that and you'll have now a new topic you're sharing something that's been sharing old content making you new again on your social media on Facebook and it's really awesome if you know

grammarly all those other grammar uh uh apps you don't need those grammar is taken care of you can literally misspell I misspell a lot I try to type fast I'm not a great typer but I will type and I misspell and it just knows what I mean it's it's amazing it's crazy um you know you can touch up other people's work so let's say you want

to um do some research on I don't know um with Johnny Walker red and Johnny Walker black the difference between the two or the Johnny Walker Distillery the history of it you can go ahead and find that on Wikipedia or whatever other site paste it in there and say rewrite this at a sixth grade English level or 12th grade English level now it can start to

learn your own type of of um of writing right so I have books I've written books and I'll take copy and paste PDFs of my books there and say right write the write new content but use this writing style learn this writing style and write in the first person is Marcus and now here's the new topic I'm going to write on and so then I can

alter it to write in my style of of of of of of language it's really cool make sure you're not plagiarized be careful plagiarism there are things you can run it through to make sure it does not plagiarize but you can also just give credit to the person who it came from too right so you can you can actually put in there reference XYZ author book

whatever you know our website article whatever and it'll throw the references in there for you automatically all right we talked about rewriting your menus um regarding your Valentine's Day menu reading all kinds of menu so it's really cool um IG post LinkedIn so you can do all your social media in this one shot right you can even say write a script for a tick tock video

based upon based upon information you've already given it so it knows it right a tick tock post script or writing YouTube shorts script for my wine tasting for my wine event right so um also your blog right your blog you can actually specifically or whatever article you want to do make a 100 and 250 word blog make a thousand word blog write this write this as

a blog post in the thousand words and it will do it write it in 2003 words cut down by half and it's like crazy your email shorten this by half and it'll shorten it by half it's crazy um Facebook events take this now I can take that whole wine thing I did the wine um posts in the description in the blog post condent this condenses to

a Facebook event description and it knows how many characters I'm allowed in Facebook events it will automatically do that create five engaging titles on Facebook for this event and you can pick from one of the five all right respond to reviews copy and paste your Yelp reviews in your Google reviews respond to this Yelp review in the first person as Marcus the owner colon paste the

review in hi George Marcus here the owner thanks I'm glad you enjoyed your pizza I'm glad glad you liked the beer I'm glad you bring your or I'm sorry you didn't have a great experience that's not our meaning it will do this for you now again artificial intelligence versus actual intelligence this doesn't work a hundred percent like we experienced some glitches here does not work 100

but you need both AIS to make this work but this is going to save you a ton of time all right so you respond to all your reviews respond to social media comments if you want to you know if somebody's doing a long-winded thing at this time it'll make responses for you I've done this I've responded before to comments like I just don't have the time

to address all these this this and and it'll address the issues for you and put the content in there that you're responding to podcasts my podcasts I put in the bullet points just like I did for the for the description on the blog post and then the the Instagram post here's what my here's what my blog post here's what my blog I'm sorry my podcast show

is about it's episode number 24. it's about this this and this and bullet points write me a podcast description then write me five exciting titles and it pumps it right out your web page for meta tags for page descriptions the back-end SEO work it works for there all right um podcast YouTube videos great for YouTube videos um talk about the emails no what you can do

is you can put in it all works on the prompt so you can put an act as my social media manager write 25 posts based upon this right write 10 post space upon this act as my marketing manager act as my marketing manager and help me write or generate this this and this for Instagram all right staff manuals write me a sexual harassment policy that contains

they must report any incident within 24 hours um of it happening that I as the manager the owner or whoever the XYZ company will investigate within 72 hours in a timely fashion um right that here is where you go to fill out the form here's where you find the form here's how you know you put that in there and it'll generate a sexual harassment policy for

you all right um more staff training write me 250 words on what IPA is international uh India Pale Ale write me 250 words describing India Pale Ale it's history um flavor profiles what foods it pairs with and let them know can be found in cooler sixes all of our IPA suggestions or suggestions or we have always have ipn draft and this and then after that generate

me a quiz with uh multiple choice quiz multiple choice quiz with the answers with an answer key provided so if you're going to test your staff on something it'll pump out that based upon that and it's all done staff training is insane with chat GPT and AI it is insane all right um all right so here we go act as my marketing manager back to the

marketing thing access my marketing manager um and come up with a strategy come up with a strategy to Market New Year's Eve at my restaurant in the next 90 days create how many other email campaigns you want how many ever posts you want give me give me suggestions give me posts give me ideas we have in New Year's Eve is in 30 days create a 30-day

plan create a 90-day plan create a 60-day plan to promote New Year's Eve it is an all you can eat buffet it's all you can drink it's 99 a person it's from seven o'clock to one a.m and it puts DJ dancing um dessert but whatever it is you put that in there and it'll create everything for you 30 to 60 to 90 days out you tell

it what to do to create one post it'll do one post they'll create a hundred it'll create a hundred but remember you're working with limited content on 100 posts so you might get some that sort of seem the same and it's gonna be the same because you're proning one thing New Year's Eve or July 4th barbecue all right so um you can write scripts scripts for

like voicemails um voicemail scripts um shoots for a video right YouTube video all kinds of scripts you can create the titles it's it's really cool here's what's freaking awesome you write me a parody song write me a parody of song from my restaurant if there's a song that you like copy and paste the lyrics into chat GPT or other AI create write me a parody song

based upon this classic song or this song put the lyrics in write it about um that my B show has the best Stakes um we have a great garden and we have really cool craft beers and it'll literally rewrite Van Halen's um Jamie's crying or running with the Devil to your with the same jungle with your information in it you want your own Birthday jingle for

your restaurant your own Birthday jingle you can create your own Birthday jingle all right so really really awesome I fooled around this a lot it's really cool I'll just goofing around with it how about contests act as my social media manager and contests you know um contest manager write me a uh a strategy to promote my bird when my free free burgers for a year at

my restaurant come up with so many posts of of this this and this and and come up with a guideline or an outline of how I should be promoting it for the next 90 days balance it out between Instagram Facebook Facebook lives um LinkedIn um blog posts um press release and it'll pump everything out for you it's crazy it's insane now they're just starting to connect

these AI test AI technology with things like chat Bots with email with your email marketing campaigns uh platforms all this is going to get integrated so your chat bots on your website um on on mannychat all these this kind of stuff is going to be and it's had a certain amount of AI to begin with we've had the really prompt um these chat Bots like on

Facebook messenger chat Bots like they have to pick a menu but prior now it's going to start understanding and knowing knowing how to answer things um and that's where it's going to the next level that's already happening right now and believing there's stuff I didn't cover that I don't even know about that this stuff is doing and that's the cool part because hopefully some of you

will leave me a comment here and tell me what you're doing with um with your AI technology for your business uh to make your life easier to delegate things on I mean imagine writing those 10 social media posts the blog posts and the email post you'd have had to pay somebody several hours you wouldn't take your time I'm up doing that um now what you can

do is you can scale your business quicker have more money to pay your staff that's there generate more Revenue right this is this is a no-brainer this is by no means going to replace people in the work workplace okay just so you know especially in the restaurant industry they talk about kiosks replacing yeah it will replace a certain segment that is um that will lose your

jobs this but there's also be a whole new industry spun off on this as well right because you still need actual intelligence folks you still need the actual intelligence so yeah so pretty exciting stuff here um chat GPT all the AI That's out there um that's it that's uh this I will be doing more videos of this because of course this stuff is so new like

I just discovered this in November I think of 2022 and we're in June of 2023 and when my friend called me up my friend called me up and said you've got to check this out I was like this is going to change the way I work on my business all right this is going to totally change it so that's it hey for more great tips on
