Rachel Reeves speaks with women in business

I was on the panel for the international women's event this evening at the Guild Hall and it was great actually to be surrounded by such Fascinating People on the panel Rachel in particular was incredible to hear how down to earth she was as well as how practical she is to understand the issues the challenges that women in particular face today it was really interesting to see

the views of women being discussed so openly and so positively as well on International women's day it's so important we talk about these things it's great to see how engaged labor party is becoming with business it's a brilliant thing to see because we are the future I do feel that the labor parties come on strides in terms of their position with business I feel like in

events like this tonight show that the labor party is really listening to business and really wants to engage certainly seems like labor is thinking very deeply and thoughtfully about the kinds of policies and the kinds of Regulation that would be really helpful to business which is I think exactly what they should be doing so it's made me feel positive and excited about a potential change in

government I think it's amazing that the label party is showing this level of support for women in business and entrepreneurs and solopreneurs and you know women who are starting out in business and founding companies when previously it felt like we were kind of out there on our own kind of making our own way and figuring it out for ourselves to hear Rachel speak and say you

know hopefully that we will get the first chancellor who is a woman would be absolutely amazing I can't wait for that opportunity and for something that my own children will have somebody to Aspire to
