QBrighteon app demonstration on Qortal - How to view uncensorable videos

All right, Mike Adams here. I wanted to walk everybody through how to use Cortal to see Brightown.com videos now. And Cortal, in fact, show my screen here. Cortal.org shows this decentralized peer-to-peer platform. They was built by Jason Crowe and his crew. And this platform, which is free to download, free to use, just click join here. And it'll take you to downloads and you can download it

for Windows or Linux or Mac, Raspberry Pi, even as well. See all these different guides here? So download it and install it and run it. And you'll be running a decentralized peer-to-peer platform for which we have now constructed a Brighton app. So Brighton.com is now pushing videos from a couple of channels and we'll expand that over time into the Cortal system, which means those videos are

forever unsensurable. And they're distributed through peer-to-peer networking. There are no central servers and there's no domain name that can be taken down. So if you're on Brighton.tv as a host or if you are a content creator on Brighton.com, you can use this now to have your videos forever unsensurable through the Cortal system. And I want to show you how to use this. So step one, like

I said, click on the downloads, go ahead and download the software and then install it and run it on your system. So this is what it looks like once you run it. And this is just a brand new Cortal that I set up here. And it starts off with this one tab, which is wallets. And you can see that I have zero quartz and zero Bitcoin

and zero light coin, whatever. This is just a brand new wallet, but this is not about the coins. You click on plus. And then you go to this called Q apps, okay, which means Cortal apps. You click on Q apps. And then here in the search box, you just type in, well, Brighton. And you click search. And then it's going to bring up the Q Brighton

app, which is writing. And here Brighton powered by Cortal, you see that? So you click download and it will download that app. So now when you revisit the Q apps tab, it says you can open Brighton. So you just click on open and it says welcome to Q Brighton. Brighton channel is currently available through the Q Brighton app, our Health Ranger report and Brighton TV. Now

you'll notice, and by the way, this is going to be greatly expanded to frankly thousands of channels. But this is just what we started with. And now what it's doing is it's actually loading up the thumbnails of these recently published videos. Now at the moment, it's actually publishing the older videos from 2022 and 2021. So you're actually seeing, you know, last year's videos here at the

moment, these are from the reawaken America tour. And if you scroll down, you're going to see lots of videos from, well, these are all from Brighton TV channel, but you'll see videos from my channel as well. And eventually you'll see videos from everybody else's channels. And the important thing to understand is that when you come to this, you can click on these videos. For example, let's

click on this Ohio Brett and Tom Rens. When I click on this video, it's not playing from a central server. When I click play, it actually loads the video from cordal nodes. And since this is a brand new video, by the way, it hasn't yet replicated across multiple nodes. So it's going to be rather slow because it's probably coming from one single node, which is the

first node that had this file. But over time, and just have patience with it, it will load up that video and it will play that video. And you can actually look in the top right corner here. You click this and it shows you the download progress of that video, which is right now at 0%. But that will increase as the nodes begin to replicate that file.

And then you'll be able to play that video. Now again, you can go back or you can click on the channel name here. And you can go right to the Brighton TV channel. And you can see it'll load up here of all the videos that are on that channel. And this of course works for every channel. So you just have to have patience with it. Yeah.

So here's all the videos just with Brighton TV. In any case, this exists now. You notice this is running in cordal. It's not running in a browser. This is really critical to understand. It's not using Firefox or Brave or Edge browser or anything like that. It's not using centralized servers. It's not using DNS. It's not using typical websites, not using Amazon AWS. None of that is

happening. This is decentralized, unsensurable video distribution. And it's free to use right now on cordal.org is where you download it. And you can run cordal and you can participate in this. And I have to say one reason why you want to do this is because we are about to build on the cordal platform. A new app that is an emergency broadcast system app. And it will

be a way for me to get you a message. In case the internet kill switch is activated. So I'll be able to get you a message, text, audio, maybe small videos, photos, things like that. Through this decentralized system to everybody who's running cordal and is running the emergency broadcast app that we're going to be building. We anticipate announcing that within the next two months or less.
