[Applause] as a Floridian all I can say is this weather is nothing I can handle this in December I thought you all were going to give us a little more you know my kids uh first grade kindergarten in prek 3 had never seen snow at being native Floridians until recently so they saw a little bit in Iowa but we got to be before Christmas in New

Hampshire we had some pretty good am mount on the powder on the ground and they built their first big snowman here in New Hampshire so those are great pictures for us they let they said they like to snow better than the beach and I said does that mean you don't want to live in Florida anymore they're like no we want the snow in Florida I was

like it doesn't work that way kids you got to choose North or South with doing that um I want to thank Thomas Massie for for being here uh and for so when we both got elected to congress the same time and uh he had spent time in New England he's a got multiple degrees from MIT I spent Seven Years in New England uh Yale and Harvard

Law I'm one of the only people in America that went through both Yale and Harvard and came out more conservative than when he went in that's not easy to do but we kind of we we hit it off and um but he he's he's a unique guy because um this is 2013 so back then like a Tesla was like a huge novelty he drove a Tesla

and there weren't that many Tes on the road but what made his either even more unique is his license plate on his uh on his Tesla was Kentucky Cole so I don't know very many people that had that and he was able to do now you'll notice he didn't mention it but he's got something on his jacket which is a he created this so This Guy's

an MIT guy he created a national debt clock that you can wear on your jacket pocket and so it shows the national debt going up more and more and more and so he he and he gave me one so he was out in uh he was out with us uh before Christmas and he gave me one so now I have one and he's got like he's

got instruction manual for it USB cord to charge it all this other stuff um and I didn't wear itday cuz part of it I told them earlier I said you know I appreciate that and it's good but you know you should do a Florida Debt Clock cuz our debt is going down in the State of Florida imagine that and that's why I think when we look

at this government and how it operates it's not representing you it's not representing taxpayers it is representing itself and the entrenched interests that are now in our nation's capital five of the eight wealthiest counties in this country are suburbs of Washington DC how did that happen are they producing all kinds of good stuff no it's all because of government and how government's being used and I

look compare that to say the State of Florida do you think our our government is too big uh of course it's too big nationally Florida is the proof of that our state has millions more people than New York now which is our closest state to US population wise yet our budget is half the size of New York's budget we have the lowest per capita state employes

uh in the country to to population uh and yet with all that being said people that come to Florida and move from New York will tell me you guys have better roads better Services better education so how are we able to do that with half the budget and with the lowest bureaucratic footprint per capita in the United States we're able to do it because most of

what government does is not necessary this bureaucracy is not necessary for your well-being uh the size that it is and so uh I'm running for presidents I want to do something about that uh I want to reduce the size of the bureaucracy and you know part of it is the size because you know we have obviously massive and we're proud in Florida we have a a

small footprint and I've had to add for certain things um you know we have certain parts that that that we've needed like Corrections and things but then I reduce in other areas and we just did a budget where we're um going to reduce another thousand positions uh which I think is the way you do it uh because sometimes these things get in in government and like

Reagan said the closest thing to eternal life on Earth is a government Bureau it's like once it's there everyone assumes it has to keep being there that's not how we think in Florida uh what we've been able to do with our debt and our budget and our tax we've cut taxes by record amounts every year in the State of Florida since I've been governor of course

we have no income tax which is uh the way to do it I can't say that about Most states in New England you guys are much better off in New Hampshire with taxes than they are in the other New England states normally I go north from Florida and and the news for taxpayers just keeps getting worse and worse the further north I go but you do

have this little Oasis here in New England to Live Free or Die state so you guys should be thankful but we've cut taxes every year and yet we've run big budget surpluses our economy has grown more than any other large State our incomes in Florida one of the few places are actually moving higher than the prices that have been increasing because of the national inflation and

yet we've been able to do all that by cutting taxes build the economy and we've paid down almost 25% of our state's total debt just since I've been Governor starting January 2019 so that's how it's done that's what we need in Washington DC Thomas mentioned the whole Co stuff and um you know I remember when he was going through that because the hysteria when Co started

for those first few months was unlike anything that I've ever seen in this country and it caused I think a lot of people to lose uh a lot of the common sense that's supposed to guide us I think they let fear dictate policy and that's not the way you want to do it uh so when he stood up against that that piece of legislation the cares

act uh the fact that anyone descended at that time was like a huge thing no one was willing to do in fact if you would have uh put something out on social media saying you know what we shouldn't lock the country down or we shouldn't do this they would censor you on social media they didn't want to have a debate about it uh and so for

him to do that he faced more blowback than I think any individual Congressman has faced uh certainly since I've been watching in the last 10 years and so the fact that he was been able to do it um to me that is courage and that's something that we should expect of all the people we elect but we see it in so few of them uh and

so he deserves a lot of credit for being willing to do that but he deserves even more credit because when he stood up to protest what was going going on he predicted everything that ended up happening that has put us in the mess that we are uh he predicted the inflation he predicted that paying people not to work would cause disruptions in the labor market he

predicted that the money would allow these blue states to do these perpetual lockdowns and keep kids out of school and doing all that uh so he was right on that and the fact that Donald Trump called him and yelled at him well I got news for you Thomas was right to oppose that and Donald Trump was wrong to sign that bill that was a mistake and

his lock Downs were a mistake and I don't think um Donald Trump is willing to come and answer we're going to answer a lot of questions Thomas will answer some too he's not willing to answer questions from voters he's not willing to debate issues uh I've already committed to do two debates in New Hampshire in January I'm happy to do that I'm happy to show up

and make the case he's not willing to do that um and I think it's you know he deserve he he should have to answer questions do you admit it was a mistake to shut down the country looking back do you admit that the cares act and all the trillions that we've added to the debt do you you admit that was a mistake do you admit elevating

Dr fouchy to the deao presidency was a mistake do you admit it was a mistake not to fire fouchy do you admit any of this stuff that was done during that period uh was a mistake because he said he did everything right uh in the interviews and I don't think that stands up to scrutiny so so he owes it to you to answer those questions if

he's not willing to do that um that does not speak well so Thomas was right about that um and I'm glad to have been one of the few voices that was offering him any support because I can tell you I wasn't getting much support in Florida during those years either uh but now looking back even Gavin Nome who I debated the other the other week on

Fox he was trying to say California was open while Florida was not are you kidding me that shows you we were right and we won this argument but I think it's important that we have a president that's going to go up there and bring accountability to the folks that were involved in perpetuating these bad policies CDC NIH FDA all these agencies failed the American people they

did destruction to this Society with the kids who were locked out of school kids who were forced to have to wear masks for 8 hours a day the businesses that never recovered and yet we're just supposed to shrug our shoulders and act like none of that ever happened not on my watch you're going to see a new sheriff in town and you are going to see

a reckoning be brought to the agencies that failed this country you know Tom and as have also talked about when you look at the problem with with things that are happening in this government whether it's IRS weaponization FBI Department of Justice all this stuff just understand this stuff just doesn't happen happen by happen stance uh this has happened because for decades presidents of both parties have

taken a position that oh well those are independent agencies I can't I can't be involved in that I can't do that and just understand when they say that you're saying that those agencies should not be held accountable because there's only one person in the in the executive branch that's actually elected by the people through the Electoral College and that's the president of the United States so

if the president is not willing to hold those agencies accountable they're to have power accumulate uh and they are going to abuse the power that's just human nature that's what our founding fathers understood so we're going to go in as president um and we are going to hold those agencies constitutionally accountable the way the founding fathers envisioned it if the FBI is colluding with tech companies

to censor dissent I'm going to fire the people who were involved with that if they're doing things against parents we're going to fire people involved with that they're not independent agencies they are executive branch agencies uh who answer to the elected president of the United States and we're going to do that we're also going to understand what are some of the threats uh to your freedom

for things that are being cooked up in Washington DC right now because obviously they've done a lot of bad policies they've got a lot more up their sleeve so talk about Co and the and the Fallout one of the things that they're trying to do under Biden is do a a treaty with the World Health Organization uh they say it's a pandemic treaty I think it's

a lockdown treaty if you look at it it's trying to take power away from the American people um and transfer it to an unelected international agency uh in Florida we saw this uh earlier this year and we actually passed legislation saying we don't recognize the wh lockdown treaty in Florida at all if Biden tries to implement it unilaterally uh we are going to reject but I

can tell you this as president on day one uh we take that wh treaty and we throw it in the trash can it's done the other issue that I think is on the horizon that doesn't get talked about as much but I think is a big threat to Freedom is the imposition of what they call a central bank digital currency does anyone know this have you

guys heard of the cbdc so it's um it's something where ultimately they want to get go to a cashless Society uh they want to eliminate crypto currency and they want all the transactions to be done under this digital dollar that's that's implemented by the Federal Reserve and one I don't think the Federal Reserve has the authority to impose this I think Congress probably could enact it

if they wanted to I don't know that they would do that if they did and when I'm president I would of course veto that uh but I think they're trying to do it unilaterally and the question is is why would they want to be doing this are they just doing this because they want to make the world a better place are they doing it because they

think they're they're trying to be nice to you as Citizens no they're doing it because it's an opportunity for them to expand their power um and wield that against people and the shape Behavior so what and they're even talking about it at places like the world economic Forum about how uh it would allow them to circumscribe what they consider undesirable purchases so what are the elites

going to consider to be undesirable purchases they're going to be considering things like get too much gasoline uh ammunition all the things they don't like is what they would do and so uh we saw this we saw the FED making noise about its own Florida I signed legislation saying we're not recognizing any fed imposed cbdc in the State of Florida I think some other states have

followed suit uh and people were were were criticizing me in the media oh this is a conspiracy theory the governor is saying that this is going to power is going to be abused look there's sometimes government will do things where it's cloaked in benevolence but it's really dangerous under the surface kind of like a wolf and sheep's clothing Central Bank digital currency is not that it

is is a wolf showing up as a wolf uh they want to take away Financial privacy and they want to be able to take away your Financial Freedom there's no other reason to try to do this unless they're doing that and so we're not going to let that happen um on day one uh we will make sure as president that we mix the whole idea of

a central bank digital currency it'll be done January 20th 2025 don't worry about that you know Thomas mentioned how he usually looks at the Second Amendment as kind of the the Touchstone or whether somebody is worthy of support because it's a poor constitutional freedom and I think if you didn't have the co thing I think I would be the guy he would point to in this

presidential race on that issue as well because um you know you look at what both Trump and Biden have done they are trying to do gun control through the uh bureaucracy through bureaucratic regulation now you can argue about what policy you want but the idea that the American people's Representatives don't have to vote on it that a bureaucracy can just issue a rule and make a

million people felons because they don't like some autrement that is not constitutional uh that is wrong uh we will not allow that to happen when I'm President we will defend people's second amendment rights Live Free or Die that is going to be the Mantra of us when it comes to your constitutional Freedom so you can take the Second Amendment to the bank um and I know

I'll have him Congress um holding down the four for us there as well it's very very important I'm just going to say a couple more things I'll open it up um I am sick of seeing what we are seeing because of what's happening at our Southern border and you know has it gotten worse the worse it's been under Biden yes but this has been an issue

for decades Republic politicians have been running talking about the Border uh for decades and yet here we are as bad as it's ever been um I'm going to be the president it's not going to be about talk it's going to be about action I am actually going to put this issue to bed once and for all you will have the sovereignty of this country restored uh

once again and that'll start on day one as president when we're going to declare the border to be a National Emergency I'm going to mobilize all of aailable resources including the military uh to be on the southern border and if we need help up here too uh CU we understand this is an issue although I think if you take care of the Southern border I think

it will help up here too I just think there's so many people that are being attracted because they know they can do it uh we are going to build a border wall now Donald Trump promised that in 2016 said that he would not only build the wall but have Mexico pay for the wall and the media would get after him about that wait a minute you

can't have M he's like nope they're going to pay they're going to pay you know now he says well there was no mechanism he could have done to have Mexico pay for the wall he's even said that he only promised that Mexico would pay for a piece of the wall does anyone remember that Mexico only pay for a I will build a wall and have Mexico

pay for a small P of course not so this is revisionist history but here's the thing uh that was why he was elected uh to build the wall and to stop this problem and I think if he had built the wall there's no way Biden would have been able to let in 9 million a wall is a physical fact of life a wall is there and

a wall matters so we're going to do it the way you have Mexico pay forers they're not just going to hand over money of course not what you do is you charge fees on the remittances that workers send to foreign countries Mexico Central America all around the world billions and billions of dollars that will go right into constructing the wall so we're going to get that

done but here's what you have to do you've had 8 million people come a lot of them have come from countries that are hostile to us China Iran Russia you name it people have come through the southern border uh I am not just going to impose those burdens on communities across the country I'm going to send those people back to the countries that they came from

and if you're not willing to do that you're never going to solve this problem but we're also going to hold the Mexican drug cartels accountable uh for what they are doing they're invading this country and they are poisoning tens of thousands of Americans every year it's not just a border issue it's every Community is now a border Community every single community in this country is seeing

deaths as a result of Fentanyl and it's not something that is because people are exclusively for people that are somehow addicted to drugs you have a lot of young people college students they'll take a pill thinking it's something else if it's laced with banol it can poison them to death and then they die uh right on the spot and that's impacting families in Florida I know

it's impacting families in New Hampshire and the people in DC they don't care they're just shrugging their shoulders they don't mind uh all that's happening well I care about this I'm not going to just sit there as president of the United States and let these criminal organizations kill our people so we not only have a right to respond uh we have a duty to respond and

we are going to treat them like the foreign terrorist organizations that they are so we'll end that problem so uh happy to open up for questions I this final thought is this I'm running for president uh because I think we're in Jeopardy of being the first generation of Americans to leave to our kids and grandkids an America less prosperous and less free than the one we

have we've inherited and if we do that we'd be Breaking Faith with every generation of Americans from the founding of this country to the present who always worked hard in sacrific so that future Generations would have an opportunity uh to live in freedom freedom President Reagan said is one generation away from Extinction it's not passed along in the bloodstream I used to hear that quote and

think that that was a little bit of an exaggeration because as somebody that was born and raised in America I'm like isn't this just in our DNA could we really just lose Freedom we have a Bill of Rights we have a declaration of independence but you know the founding fathers understood what President Reagan said they understood that freedom br when they went to Philadelphia to create

the Constitution in 1787 the delegates came having studied the history of every Republic in the history of mankind because they wanted to draw lessons from those experiences and there was really only one thing that all those republics had in common and it was this every one of them had failed and so they believed it fell to the United States of America to determine once and for

all can people really govern themselves can you have a Society based on the idea that our rights are endowed by our creator not as a result of government can we live under a rule of law rather the whim uh rather than the whim of individual rulers or was mankind forever destined to live under various forms of despotism and they fully expected that this country uh would

decide that question once and for all but they knew that their handy work at that convention that was just the ticket to the dance that didn't ultimately ensure the success that just gave americ a chance to be successful when Benjamin Franklin walked out of the convention he was asked did you give us a republic or a monarchy his answer was a republic if you can keep

it they understood you can have the best constitution in the world you can have the best Declaration of Independence in the world these things do not run on autopilot they require every generation of Americans to step up and defend Freedom when it's at risk and sometimes put on a uniform risk your life and even give the last full measure of devot otion for service to this

country now we're not called upon to make sacrifices of that nature here in this political season but what we are called upon to do is to preserve what George Washington called The Sacred fire of Liberty this was a fire that burned in Independence Hall in 1776 when 56 men pledged their lives their fortunes and their sacred honor to establish a new nation conceived in Liberty it's

a fire that burned at a cemetery in Gettysburg Pennsylvania when our nation's first Republican president pledged this nation to a new birth of Freedom it's a fire that burned on the shores of Normandy France when a merry Band of Brothers stormed Normandy defeated the Nazis and preserved Liberty throughout the world it's a fire that burned at the foot of the Berlin Wall in 1987 when a

Resolute Republican president stood in front of that wall and said Mr gorbachov tear down this wall and led to the disillusion of the Soviet Union this is our task to carry that torch and to preserve this sacred fire of Liberty it's not a responsibility I shy away from it's a responsibility that I welcome if it's not us now who's going to do it if now's not

the time when are we going to step up and get this job done uh as a president as the candidate of the party uh I'll be able to win a victory up and down the ball just like we did in Florida winning the biggest victory that anybody's been able to win in the history of our state for a republican running for governor uh but more importantly

than that I'll be a leader that you can be proud of uh I don't view the presidency as the people serving the president it's the president serving the people you're a servant not a ruler that's how I'll conduct myself and finally as the president uh I'm not just making idle promises we're going to deliver on everything that I'm talking about and I promise you this I

will not let you down thank you God bless let's take some questions thank you thank you thank you thank you all right who do we got we got what do we got anybody got any questions yes on money okay yeah yeah so the the government has been sending tax dollars to pay for salaries for government workers in Ukraine by like the tens of billions of dollarss

they've been sending money to pay uh pensions uh for bureaucrats over there and I'm thinking to myself wait a minute we have a open border here we have people coming into our country uh unauthorized we don't know who they are yes some of them represent a terrorist threat and yet the people in DC won't do anything about it so I think the Republicans are absolutely right

and I know a lot of Thomas's colleagues are saying you know don't talk to us about these foreign issues until you deal with our national security issue at the southern border they need to deal with this border issue uh they need to deal with putting the American people first now in terms of uh the overall Europe and how our national security footprint is European NATO allies

need to do their fair share of Defense we can't provide blanket security for the entire world I think our biggest threat to our national security is the rise of China we don't we're not adequately resourced in that part of the world we're going to do something about it uh as commander-in Chief we'll make sure I'm look I'm the only Veteran running for president uh so I

understand the military I understand uh our posture I also understand what goes into deploying troops overseas um and it's not something I'm going to do uh willy-nilly and hope to never have to do it uh but China is eating our lunch right now uh and Europe is not doing uh what they need to do so I'm going to ensure that they do their fair share I

think it's very important thank you it's been said that those who don't remember history rep yet people who wanted us to follow fear in trying to memory everything that happen a lot of us don't understand what pressure was coming from Washington State i' love it if you could let us know what happened in those early days sure a great question um look there was immense pressure

I mean on Thomas more pressure on Congressman about this uh Washington was pushing down the White House covid task force the fouchy task force pushing down uh CDC Department of Homeland Security was pushing stuff down uh all down on the local governments on the states and what ended up happening was you know when I said look we're not we're not going to be following this um

you start to have federal agencies working directly with local governments in Florida to to impose restrictions uh over the state what the state was saying was the right thing to do so like for example we never mandated mass in Florida uh they they did it in some of the local communities so then I came in and I banned them from being able uh to enforce Mas

mandates and I pardoned everybody who our local governments imposed any penalty on for any violation of covid protocols but yes this was driven by Washington and you know you can look and say like obviously California had lengthy lockdowns you look at like a Georgia uh Georgia opened very quickly Donald Trump attacked Georgia for opening the economy uh you look at Florida we became the epicenter of

Freedom everyone all over the world was coming uh to vacation or to live in the state uh so you had radically different uh views or radically different approaches uh but I don't think any of the states would have done that uh without the Trump Administration pushing that to begin with and I think what what he had the opportunity to do was to say don't do that

keep it more uh like Sweden keep the economy going take precautions on a voluntary basis but don't force that um and so I think that whole template was wrong and it it appeared to me to be wrong after basically about four to six weeks of it uh where you really couldn't see much difference in outcomes based on whether there were restrictions here or there or not

so here's the thing there needs to be accountability just because it did do a lot of damage to this country I mean there was a lot of kids in places like Chicago and Los Angeles that got locked out of school for a year over a year teacher Union would be locking out and then these union members would be in the Bahamas partying and posting on Instagram

so the kids were denied an education they were still getting paid and living their best life that shows you all you need to know about some of this stuff and I remember one of the things that really exposed this to me um in a really big way was when the BLM Riot started because you remember this is like late May of 2020 they were yelling at

people in Florida for being on the beach that oh you're doing Memorial Day you're doing all this they were they were mad at me because people were playing golf and and tennis and everything like that so those Public Health bureaucrats and these imbecilic Physicians that would scream on TV on CNN they wanted you to be in your house basically just indefinitely with with social distancing well

then you have the protest and the riots and the question is is well wait a minute if it's wrong for somebody to play golf or it's wrong for somebody to go to the beach or it's wrong for somebody to have a gathering in their home well it's got to be wrong to do to do these protests and the riots and what these these these Health bureaucrats

said was actually um it's wrong to protest lockdowns but somehow it's okay to do BLM protests and riots and they want wanted us to believe that somehow those Gatherings were essential for public health whereas anything else that didn't fit their ideological lest was not that's when you know these people were full of it and there they were all a bunch of frauds this all got so

politicized so I think you need accountability because this can never happen to our country ever again and we've got to make sure and you need leadership to ensure that and that's what we'll do and what's your name Mary well thank thanks Mary well as governor of Florida I know a few people on Social Security it's a big part of our state and um but I know

how important it is um and I also know just from my own experience uh my grandmother lived till 91 her sole source of income was Social Security and so that's not true for every senior but it's true for a lot and that makes it difficult period but when you have prices rising uh you lose ground because even when they do a cost of living increase uh

adjustment it does not cover the rise that we've seen in groceries the rise that we've seen in Staples of Life uh and so seniors on those F incomes have fallen further further behind so the Social Security benefits is something that not only they've been promised not only they paid into the system uh but it's something that's essential to ensure that they're able uh to maintain a

dignified uh lifestyle so so they will get their benefits when I'm President we understand it's a priority uh and so they can rest assured that promisees made or promises is kept I don't view Social Security like a welfare program like some of the other Republicans have have said because you've paid into it your entire life I mean I remember my first paycheck I was 15 or

16 whenever I first start and I saw this money taken out I'm like wait why I don't like that taxes but that was from every dollar you earn as a wage earner you're paying into that and so once you get to be retirement you know you expect to see that so so we're going to do it but we're also going to help Social Security by getting

the inflation down and not letting inflation rear its ugly head inflation was created because of what Thomas fought against borrowing Printing and spending trillions and trillions of dollars that we don't have of course you're going to get Rising prices so we need to get that down we need to get interest rates down but then we need to make sure that institutions like the Federal Reserve are

not just trying to micromanage and plan our economy because they don't have the capacity to do that maintain a stable price that is what we need need to do and when we do that that's going to make things better for people on Social Security and our economy is going to grow better when our economy grows better our budget situation is better when interest rates are down

the interest on the debt is easier to finance we paying almost a trillion dollars now just to finance the interest on our debt that is all a result of what he fought against and what these guys in Washington did so thank you yes y she her question was where do you buy that now I invented this but I would never monetize the Deb so so I

actually gave all the patents and the source code to my son-in-law and he has them on a website called de badge.com and I am uh the reason I created this is so that my colleagues would have to look at it every day day like I wish they would post the debt in the House of Representatives and in the budget committee right but they won't do that

so I make them look at it in the elevator and in every hearing room they have to look at me so be careful it will induce anxiety among your colleagues at school just like it does for my colleagues thank you actually and if you give me your address I'll send you one for [Applause] [Music] free that's a great question and and thanks for coming you're very

knowledgeable and I appreciate you asking good questions I should um you know some of these reporters could learn a thing or two from you about all that good stuff I kid I kid um so what what they need to do on the border honestly it's not that much about money I think there's some money that needs to be done I talked about we'll do the the

remittances and we'll pay to build the border wall a lot of it's policy they're incentivizing people to come to make bogus claims then they get a sheet of paper and they come for a trial 3 years later how can you enforce a order like that once they're in they've achieved what they're trying to achieve they know the chance that they'll be sent back is very SL

so they need to to remove all of those disincentives you should not have the Asylum work the way it is look there's legitimate claims of Asylum very rare but there are legitimate claims where people are being persecuted for their faith are being persecuted for their race or ethnicity and if someone flees communism like they fled from Vietnam and Cuba you that's that's one thing but this

this is being abused to be basically anyone that wants to come to America is just claiming this without a justification so so they need to change that we also need to overall How We Do immigration this idea of chain migration does not serve this country well look I'm a I'm a veteran I know a lot of veterans who uh marry foreign spouses of course you bring

in a foreign spouse and direct but to bring in cousins and all this other stuff uh that's not based on Merit and I would say the immigration should be based on Merit and then the whole idea of if you are if you come to this country illegally and then have a child that somehow that's a Birthright citizenship I don't think that's what the 14th Amendment uh

was meant to do uh I think it's me it was meant to overturn Dread Scott versus Sanford and to ensure that African-Americans there was no doubt that they were Americans the idea that you want to incentivize people to come across the border have a child and then all of a sudden the child's an American that means you can never send the parents back because you be

splitting up the family so we're going to deal with this whole uh 14th Amendment Birthright citizenship for illegal aliens that's not the way it was supposed to be and and we're going to we're going to take care of that thank you for everything done and C CBC reality much grp I also want to know what is your favorite and least favorite Supreme Court decisions great so

uh but on the cbdc I think it's important cuz I think you're right Trump supported this in his administration they they they started it um in the treasury and then Biden supports it I guarantee you Haley supports it I mean this is this is a Wall Street thing you know the way I view the primary is Donald Trump's running on for his issues Haley's running for

her donor's issues I'm running for your issues and that's really how it how it sets up but they will allow it I'm the only guy that will stop it I think that's important so what's the favorite and least favorite um Supreme Court I think the worst decision that the Supreme Court has ever rendered is The Dread Scott versus Sanford case uh because it denied the basic

was not what the founding fathers uh envisioned when they created the Constitution and so they were taking their judicial power and they were trying to solve uh quote solve an issue that they had no right to legislate on and so was an example of the Court not only getting the the law wrong but also abandoning their entire role um under the Constitution and so so that

I think is the worst decision I think there's been a lot of others that have been that have been bad but but that one um I think is the worst you know what's the best Supreme Court decision um ever you know I don't know what the best would be I mean I think that there's a number that have been good um certainly in recent years I

know the heler decision which finally applied the Second Amendment to the states and said yes it's not a a bastard Amendment all the Amendments apply and so you'll do that I think if you look at Justice scalia's um uh descent in this case Morrison versus Olsen it was about this independent Council statute but if you read that descent uh you'll learn a lot about the proper

structure of this constitution our founding F when they left Philadelphia there was no Bill of Rights in the Constitution when they first left um and the Anti-Federalists were like wait a minute we need a Bill of Rights but and I'm glad we have that but the reason the founders didn't put it in is because they said the structure of the Constitution is the Bill of Rights

that they've divided power amongst different branches of government that you have branches checking and balancing each other uh in ways that you wouldn't have an accumulation of power his descent in that case articulates that I think in a way that he was ridiculed at the time because I think it was an A1 decision now everyone looks back and says he got it 100% right so so

it's good but I think just before I think on the court looking forward you know who are you going to appoint to be justices on the court cuz I think this is very important Trump basically said he's going to rely on other people to give him lists and he'll pick a name off a list look that's fine uh but I think you've got to bring to

the table an understanding of the proper role of the court in a constitutional system you have to understand what's the proper way to interpret the law uh how are you applying the law and then I think most importantly you kind of need an intangible factor of who's got the backbone to be able to render good decisions and the reason why someone like Clarence Thomas is one

of my heroes is because he will do what he thinks is Right regardless of the blowback he doesn't care what the media says about him he doesn't care what law professors say about him he doesn't care what lawyers say he does what he thinks is right and he's very Fearless in how he does that uh justice sco was similar Justice Alo uh I'm concerned about the

next 8 years uh you may have four appointments to the court uh you need a president that's going to be able to put strong constitutionalists in those positions that are in the mold of a Clarence Thomas and a Justice Alo they're the ones that you can count on to uphold the Constitution uh the way it's written so we will do that [Applause] y so I think

Israel has every right the question about the Israel Hamas conflict uh Israel has every right uh to defend itself and defend its people and when you have a terrorist group like Hamas that is dedicated to creating a second Holocaust uh I think that they would be foolish uh not to want uh to end that problem once and for all I think Hamas could end it by

an unconditional surrender I don't think that they're going to do it uh so I think our role as Israel being an ally is not that this is our our fight uh but that we should stand behind them in public and private uh so that they're able to do what they think to protect their people to be putting babies in ovens uh to be brutally raping and

murdering women to be uh doing what they did to senior citizens this is completely barbaric conduct this was a low a new depth uh of depravity even even more animalistic than what Isis used to do you're just going to say that they can just be right on your border cuz I think about it from like America's perspective if someone was firing missiles from the Bahamas into

like Fort Lauderdale we would never accept that we would flatten anything that happened it would be done like with literally within 12 hours it'd be done we would never ever demand that our citizens lived under that type of threat and that's not even talking about the intrusion and The Invasion and the terrorist attack so so they've had to live under these circumstances but here's the thing

um let's just be honest about what has happened in terms of the history cuz I look at these college campuses and you have students that are protesting in favor of Hamas terrorists and I'm thinking to myself what would possess you to do this and I think some of these people you know I think maybe some of them just really bad apples I think a lot of

them are just ignorant a lot of them think that this is somehow the cool thing to do and it and it it I kind of get a I mean it's sad but I mean like I I watch they say Israel's a colonial power really if you open up a Bible you go back thousands of years years those were Jewish lands they're the ones that got displaced

from people coming in over over many years they were displaced they came back and settled in the holy land with with starting in the late uh 1800s there's the movement to have a Jewish State uh and then what happened after World War II the UN created a partition plan a Jewish State and an Arab State Israel accepted the partition plan the Arabs rejected it and they

invaded Israel and they were trying to kill the Jewish state in its crib Israel won that war Israel fended off a preemptive attack in ' 67 yam kipor war in 73 all these inas so throughout this whole time uh Palestinian Arabs have not been seeking their own State they've been seeking the destruction of the Jewish State and that is just the fact of what we're talking

about here Israel's been willing to make uh concessions throughout many many decades but the reality is how do you have that situation when the other side doesn't uh accept your right to exist as a Jewish state so I think they have a right to defend their people and I think they have a right to avoid a second [Applause] Holocaust no so I think it's a great

question so he's talking about kind of a um a surveillance State that's in places U I think he mentioned Qatar obviously China yeah um and here's the thing so like look like a place like China because they're the most influential and I think they want to export this uh to as many places around the world as possible so they do have massive surveillance but then what

they also have is uh these things called social credit scores and a social credit system and what they want and they're actually trying to do something similar in the United States with things like ESG and some of these things uh and basically what it is is your ability to participate in society uh will be uh change one way for good or bad based on whether you're

towing the ideological line with these social credit scores so I think it's a huge huge threat to Freedom here in the United States as well as over there UMES do people know have you guys heard of ESG environment social governance uh so basically what it is is um this is being done through businesses large corporations Black Rock Wall Street Banks uh other types of companies Disney

and what they're trying to do is impose a social agenda through business so don't even bother winning elections don't even bother doing having to get things through the legislature crack down on fossil fuels crack down on um on on Second Amendment do all that by basically limiting financing or judging people based on social credit so they're trying to do ESG scores now in Florida we we

mixed that we said no so if you're going to do a bond rating for like a municipal government you do it based on economic factors you don't do an ESG Factor so when we passed that Texas did as well S&P said they're not going to go along with that but I think the danger is is that they're going to put those together so if you want

to apply for a loan uh they want it to be where you're going to have these political factors going and how you do it to me that is a huge threat to Freedom so we've stopped it in Florida uh we'll stop it nationally but I think because of the amount of business these companies do overseas if we're able to solve it here that will impact what

they do I think in a positive way in some these other countries on the other hand if we let it come here then things like China they're going to be able to import more of that here and it's going to be bad for Liberty yes en poliy the what energy policy my energy policy is we're going to open up all of our energy for production I

want to be the dominant energy producer you know we have more more energy in this country than any other country on Earth uh if you look at the Marcela Shale the peran Basin we have bachan we've got Alaska we have all this stuff and I want you to pay low less for gas I think that's important for consumers if you have lower energy costs that affects

the entire economy all the good you pay for are influenced by energy cost lower costs lower prices it's also good for jobs it's good for our industrial base but it's good for our national security we should never go hat in hand to Saudi Arabia Venezuela Rush any of these countries and depend either directly or indirectly on them for energy and not only that when we're dominant

in energy that's bad for China Russia Iran and Venezuela so I think it's a no-brainer uh from that perspective so we need to choose Midland over Moscow uh we need to choose the marcelis over the mulas and we need to choose bachan over Beijing and I will make sure that that happens and we'll open it up on day one we're also going to reverse Biden's electric

vehicle mandate no mandates for electric vehicles so so the electric vehicles so like you know I did this debate with the governor of California in November and um it's like every whatever you think is bad in Washington California has that and they'll they'll raise you right I mean they're 5 years ahead 10 years ahead of where the left going to go nationally so they've already done

an electric vehicle mandate it hasn't taken effect yet but it will and then not to distant future and their mandate is simple no they won't allow any new vehicle s sales unless they're electric so you're not even have an option in California uh to buy a traditional automobile now that's bad for consumers because it's expensive uh but here's the thing after they came out of that

policy a couple days after that the state of California did an announcement said attention all electric vehicle owners in the state of California please do not plug in your electric vehicle we do not have enough space on our electric grid to service your needs right and I'm thinking to myself wait a minute how are they going to be able to handle 10 15 20 million more

cars uh in the future so you're not able to do it so what this kind of government dictated green energy policy is doing on the one hand it's kneecapping reliable energy uh oil gas the things that um that that we know will work but they're increasing the amount of electricity that people are going to need to use to live their normal lives so less reliability more

demand that equals like they've seen in California rolling blackouts you will have rolling blackouts throughout this country uh in New England it's going to be devastating in the winter uh I think you should have low gas prices I mean that's what we want we want people to be able to to heat their homes and be comfortable so we'll get that done but I think these electric

vehicles uh it will bankrupt the car companies too because there's just not enough demand for them you are ready we don't even have these mandates in full effect yet you already see these cars are sitting on the locks and they're not being sold and I think that you know like I know Thomas is Tesla like it's a cool car you know I couldn't afford one and

not necessarily something I do but it's a cool car but here's the thing not everyone wants that not everyone wants to do that uh so day one is President good Pro American Energy policy and we will save the American Automobile ladies and gentlemen this will be the last question thank you for service thank you for your [Applause] service ofice start so the VA terms of how

are we going to fix the VA well good well thank you for your service well a couple things I got someone someone told me uh yesterday that they're thinking about using VA for illegal aliens are you kidding me we will never allow that to happen don't worry about that but here's the thing the VA is a big bureaucracy okay and I think veterans get caught up

in red tape I mean I remember when I left active duty I got a packet of okay here's all I couldn't understand it uh it's very difficult I mean and I think a lot of veterans just don't know where to go uh for help and services so there's a couple things one uh you know we've had some some people working in the VA who really let

veterans down I'm going to fire those people uh we're not just going to let them shuffle them around to different parts of the VA we're not going to do that but the other thing we're going to do is just recognize that you know the thing about this country in spite of all the problems uh you have uh a deep I think abiding appreciation uh for people

that have served in uniform and you see that in veterans groups that we have and Charities and businesses uh philanthropists even individual volunteers we need to harness all that on behalf of the veterans and so I want the VA yes if they can help on all this whatever veterans are entitled to we got to get that done better but uh we also want the VA to

help link veterans to all these resources that are available in society so for example we have a model in Florida that we'll use where people go in we started it with welfare benefits so they go in and we've created something called the care portal so it allows Charities churches businesses individual volunteers to plug into the portal so you have somebody maybe you have a mother who

got evicted from an apartment and she's got uh young kids well that'll get put in and yes she's eligible for some government benefits but the minute that that goes out to The Community you then have somebody that comes that helps and we can get them on a pathway to self-sufficiency so I think something similar for the VA have a portal we have all these veterans veteran

Charities I mean that do mental health that do service dogs I mean you name it there's a lot of good work being done so let's have them plugged in let's have businesses plugged in a lot of businesses will contribute and it could be done locally too where you know if you're in Central Florida then it's those businesses will take priority uh you can have religious groups

and individual volunteers I mean maybe you have a veteran that has post-traumatic stress they come in VA is a gauntlet that goes into the portal maybe it's just somebody that lives in their neighborhood that shows up to their house the next day and say you know what I just want to make sure you're okay can I take you out to lunch and listen and then maybe

they just talk for an now that could be the difference between a veteran committing suicide or not just the fact that somebody cares so we have resources in this Society we got to do a better job of linking the veteran to those resources we're going to make sure that that's the type of framework we have in the VA uh so that veterans would takeen care of

and as the only Veteran running for president as the first person elected president since 1988 I would be who served in a foreign war uh veterans issues are going to be a top priority for me I understand it's important I understand particularly in my generation post 911 uh we've got a lot of stuff that we still have to deal with with the the vet suicide uh

the post-traumatic stress all this is very important so it'll have my time and attention and we're going to approach this I think in a way that's going to be much more effective before I leave um I know we're now getting now we're uh less than a month away from from the New Hampshire primary we're going to have the Iowa caucus the week before um and we're

going to you're going to see great things out of Iowa for us there uh then then we're going to storm in in New Hampshire and this will be the first in the nation primary uh and I'm asking for your vote um on that uh I'll be the candidate and I'll be the president that will work for you um you I don't care what what what the

donors say I'm not concerned about any of my personal issues I'm not running you know to exact any type of Revenge about me uh I'm running because I want to help you I want to help your family and I want to turn this country around and stop the decline that we're seeing so you'll get a president who will be energetic you'll get a president will actually

get these things done um and you'll be a you'll get a president that will keep his word when he promises you he's done something I will be the one to deliver thank you all God bless
