That sounds good. I mean, glad we finally got to do this again. After like two weeks off of first me being sick and then us having a scheduling problem. Yeah, but now we finally got this exactly. And I'm always happy to talk to you man. So what's going on? What's new? Well, private on why? Let's start with private first. All right. I've been working a lot.

But on a more possibly interesting. Based on you and the listeners, I've been kind of getting into crypto mining again. Because I actually don't know anymore how exactly I started or how exactly I got into it. I just I think I read somewhere that the RTX 30 and video graphics cards are still really good for mining. And I own a 3080. Which I bought last November

for Cyberpunk. And so I just thought, well, I could give it a try. Because from from prior experience, I knew that here in Germany, our costs for power are quite a bit higher than in some other countries. And because I, I mean, it's the graphics card. This is my gaming PC. And so I thought, well, I could just try running it, see how loud it is,

how hot it gets. And just see how if it makes any money at all, after I deduct the cost for power. And because I didn't want to get into any of the like nitty gritty stuff and spend a bunch of time on configuring things. I just went with nice hash. I don't know if you know the platform. Yes, I am familiar with nice hash. Okay. And

so that was really nice and really easy to set up. And at this point, I've been mining with my graphics card in effective effectively. It's bear time for about two weeks, two weeks and like three days, I think at this point. And I'm turning a decent profit. That's good. That's good. So. Nice hash allows you to mine. If it's anything like some of the like honey

mine or a few others, does it automatically switch to what is most profitable when you start money? I think it does. Yes. Yeah. I haven't seen it switch with me. Mm hmm. But I'm pretty sure it automatically selects what's best for your mining hardware. Exactly. And like monitors it and tells you how much you're making. And automatically converts it into Bitcoin. That's even better. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. That's good news, man. Yeah. I've been thinking about it. I have a buddy of mine who I was talking to yesterday who told me that he started mining with his gaming PC. And he was so excited that he made a $500 over the last three months. Oh, well. Yeah. And he lives in an area where he has solar panels. So he has relatively low electricity

costs. Yeah. And that was kind of cool. Yeah. I was excited for him when he mentioned it. Yeah. I mean, I'll see how much I'll actually make over three months. Because in these two weeks, the amount of money I've been making daily has been fluctuating quite a bit. And so it went from at the beginning more like four euros a day. And for the last week,

it has been at like eight or nearly nine euros a day. So I might be coming into somewhat around like 200 euros for the first month or something like that. That's a nice little piece of change, man. Yeah. To just kind of set it in. To set it in. Forget it. You know. Yeah. Definitely. The only thing is that it does quite heat up my room,

which hasn't been very bad for the last few weeks. Because it was still quite cold outside. So I just opened my window and the PC is right next to the window. But with summer coming on. And today we've had our, I'd say, almost first like really warm day of the year, like 27 degrees Celsius, I think. Let me see how much that is in Fahrenheit. That's

80 Fahrenheit. So I mean, it's not like really hot, but it's too warm for me already. And then of course with a PC running, the graphics card getting hot, three monitors, plus when I'm working another work laptop. That does quite heat up the room. I would imagine. So yeah. So I'll, I'll have to see how long I can leave it running before I start melting. And

then in the summer, I'll probably have to turn it off for a bit. But yeah, I'll see. In the meantime, it's, as you said, a nice bit of, well, not quite change. Actually, quite a bit of substantial money for me. Yeah. It's good, man. It's good. It's good to hear. Very good to hear. So what's going on in the world of new arm, my friend? Well,

things have been a bit silent because there's our main death flow has been working hard at like the different steps of getting the swap stuff ready. And for example, one of our next steps that we're still working towards is a test net with the old and the new core wallet combined so that we can test the swap procedure in the test net. And that would be

a major milestone. And in the meantime, we were planning to do this earlier, to get there earlier. But then, you know, how things are. Tech gives problems bugs need to be fixed, all of that. So we are a bit behind the schedule. We originally set ourselves, but we are still making good progress. And we are quite confident that we will be rolling out these different phases.

So, in the next month or so. That's good to hear. Yeah. I'm really looking forward. At some point, we'll also like to a test net testing, or probably a swap procedure testing with community members. But I don't have any, any details on that yet. We'll, but we'll tell the community via discord and probably why. via Twitter as well. Once we have any details on how people

can participate and all that. Right. Right. That's good to know, man. You guys are really moving along. Yeah. It feels good. Um, then another smallish little thing is we got a new website. I saw that I was going to talk about it. Yeah. Yes. Um, it's. Not quite as flashy as the old one. And it's, um, more kind of out of necessity than, than out of

a, hey, we'll do a new cool website. Because the problem with field website was that it was built on WordPress and partly old WordPress plugins. And parts of those weren't getting security updates anymore. Um, and it was quite a big system to administrative. And it was built by a web developer from the previous team. When back when it was still zone. And so it was a

combination of it actually takes quite a bit of work to keep, to keep everything up to date. Plus, we don't know the system intimately. And don't have the expertise. To do any like deep changes to the website. And, uh, well, the security, there were security, um, concerns about the website. Because, as I said, some up, or, I don't know the exact, um, what these act problems

were. Because a Christian to care of that. Right. Yeah. Looks good, man. Yeah. And so we just, um, built a small little, um, little website with the, with the important stuff essentially. And, um, yeah. Christian did that as well. And got some feedback from some community members. And, yeah. And we now have essentially, we've, we've got the expertise over this site. And it's, uh, not really.

It's like a lot of build on a, on a, like large platform, like WordPress with dozens of plugins and blog behind it and all of that. Um, so yeah. I think we are now better prepared for, for once. For one thing. Of course, uh, any security things because we've got complete control. And on the other hand. To update in the future, the way we want to.

And yeah. I think that's very, man. You know, I, I, I applaud you all for keeping it simple. Um, I know you said it is not as flashy as the last night, but I actually like this. Um, it's very easy to, easy to navigate. Um, everything that you're looking for is right there. And it looks good both on, uh, desktop as well as, uh, my iPhone.

Um, I think that's a great idea. Yes. So I think it's really slick, man. I think it's really slick. Yeah. I like it as well. Any, uh, any, new enhancements or features you guys are looking at after, uh, flow has finished connecting the old and a new wallet together to test the swap feature. Um, not directly. There have been a few ideas bouncing around the discord.

Um, about different things. But for now, I think we're, we're firmly staying on track for the, the swap and getting all those things done. And when those things start on, we can talk into a list about what the future will hold and, uh, what kind of possibilities that actually are. Got you. I think things are, I think things are going to look really bright. Um, I

think that's a great idea. Once you all have, uh, completed the testing phase and I expect the, the community to, uh, fully embrace what you guys are doing and, um, you know, continue the activity that they have and then, uh, bring in some new users and some new, uh, participants to, to the community as well. Yes, hopefully. Yeah, man. That's good. So any, any whiskies or

bourbons. I need to, uh, consider man. I, you know, like, we were, we were talking a couple of months ago. You were talking to me about, uh, uh, uh, whiskeys that you were drinking. So anything new that I need to try. Um, I mean, I haven't had that many new whiskeys lately. Um, I'm having a whiskey tasting with my best friend, probably like next week or

the week after. And so I've, um, I've bought like small sample bottles of whiskey for that. But I haven't tried any. Any of those yet. So I can't tell you if any of them are like really great. But I did see that you got a nika from the barrel. If I'm correct. I think you posted it. Yes. I picked that up. Uh, yesterday is a matter

of fact. Yes. Are you still have, well, let me check. I'm reasonably sure. Yes. I still have a sample from a nika from the barrel, which I, I don't know. I think I drank from it, but it's been sanding here for a while. So I might just, uh, have a sip of that later today. Because you reminded me of that. With that picture. Yeah, man. I,

I'm trying to get, uh, back into burbins and whiskeys. Um, but I am really a big run fan. That's like my, my favorite. So, yeah, try to, you know, broaden my, you know, my, my, exposure to other spirits. And so I picked up that nika from the barrel as well as, um, some angels envy, uh, yesterday. Okay. I'll continue to grow my, my, uh, bar, um,

based on recommendations that I get from my friends. So that's why I asked you. Um, what's your drink in lady? So I can try to find it here. I mean, I'm a huge fan of the Scottish single malt. So, um, let me see if I, I feel like I'm going to get any bottles that I like to drink here that you might actually be able to

find. Because a lot of this stuff, I don't know if I've told you this, uh, stop me if I already have at some point. But a lot of the, the whiskey bottles I actually own are from, I like single cast whiskey. And so usually there are between like 200 and 400 bottles of that. And when it's gone, it's gone. Yeah. I think we did have a

discussion about that because you were telling me about a, uh, a club or something. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's got small whiskey society. Exactly. Exactly. And there's one in New York, man. It's about two hours from me. No noise. Yeah. I might have to stop up there one day. There's a couple of cigar lounges are in the city that I want to hit up. So I may

have to stop by there one day and grab some. Yeah. Um, if you do get to try something, something scotch. Um, I would recommend triaglentronak. Never heard of that. Okay. It's, it's, uh, among scotch, it's at least among, among like single malt scotch. It's quite popular. Or an abalawa. I have seen that before. I may need you to drop that in the chat. I can find

it. But, uh, to let me know which one because I've seen a couple of them before. Yeah. Sure. Um, those two would be, would be like the first to come to mind when I think of something not too expensive. But that I still like like drinking, especially like the, what's it called? Abalawa 12 years. Nonchil filtered. I had for a couple of years, almost I think.

That does essentially my daily whiskey, not really daily, but you know what I mean? No, I don't know what you mean, you mean daily. No, you're not quite a mor off casual whiskey. Something when I, when I was just like, Hey, I want to drink whiskey, but I don't want to have to like actively think about it. But still enjoy it. That would be my go

to. Because it was cheap enough that I wouldn't mind like drinking a whole bottle over a few months. That's where I think like about 40 years of bottle. Uh, but it was high quality. And it was like just very tasty. And like with, with, with a certain depth to it, but not so deep that you have to dive into it. To really enjoy it. Because for

me, there are like two or three types of whiskey, depending on how you think about it. Probably three. One would be the whiskey I don't like, which is, oh, I did drink it. Um, second would be whiskey, that is often complex and tasty. Well, tasty first of all, and then complex, which is the kind of whiskey that you can nurse in your glass for like two

or three hours, or even an entire evening, because you always, at every sniff you take, at every sip you take, you discover something new. And then there are whiskies that I like that are tasty to me. And which are a little more simple, not overly simple, but simple enough that you don't have to completely focus on the whiskey to enjoy it. If you know what I

mean, I'm sure there are rums like that as well. Stephanie, most definitely. And so for me, I always have to think about, okay, do I want to focus on the whiskey right now? Or am I watching a movie or a reading a book and just want to whiskey on the side? And then I choose whiskey, depending on what I want in my whiskey right now. Yeah,

man. We're going to have to get together so we can, uh, so we can have some pair of drinks. Sessions. Um, I'm hoping that I'll be in Europe. Um, I'm thinking maybe March of next year.
