Sean with me today. Sean, how are you my friend? I'm well. I'm well. Good brother. Thanks for having me on today. No problem at all man. Yo, you and I have been following each other for a little while and I initially started following you and I bumped into you on Instagram and you are a crypto advocate. You're a blockchain and Bitcoin advocate. But you also got

some cool things popping on your IG page. So I'm hoping we'll get a chance to talk about today but talk about that today. But let's get started with first things first man. Tell me about how you got into crypto. Yeah, so I got into crypto back in 2016. And if I'm being honest, I can't. Exactly remember where I heard the word Bitcoin. It might have been

from my ex stepson. But I can't put my finger on it. But at the time, I was, I had just learned to trade the markets and, you know, like in an actual like school and everything. And I turned to crypto on Fridays when the four X market will close. So like I want to say five, 30 or something like that. I picked up my phone to

start looking at Bitcoin. And, you know, before I knew it man. Yo, for real, I used to make fun of Bitcoiners. Like just not like heavy, you know, I didn't really know anything about it or anything like that. And I said, you know what, this will just be something for me to play around with until the market opens again on Monday. And before you know it,

by 2017, I was pretty much turned against the traditional markets. So that's a, let me see, as far as Twitter goes. Bitcoin trade of all people was the, the personal Twitter who told me that Bitcoin was fractal. Because at that point back in 2016, I was still not aware of what I was doing. I was just aware that, you know, you could buy into Toshis, you

know, so I was great. And here we are almost five years later. And I'm, man, I'm in deep. What about yourself? Man, I got into Bitcoin in 2014 as a minor. And I started out in Bitcoin only because I was on cheap air.com. And I found out that you could pay for flights. And I didn't know what it was because I was using a credit card.

And I can't remember what app I was using trying to find like cheap flights. But at the time I was flying back and forth between Atlanta and San Diego. And in this app, it said, you know, cheap air was the best way to get flight outside of Atlanta, a heart field to San Diego with the layover and Phoenix. And it was like about 120 bucks cheaper

than everywhere else. So it's like, I'm going to buy a lot of things. Cool. So as I'm paying for my flight, I realized, you know, there's, there's this option there that says, pay with Bitcoin. And I'm not, what the hell is Bitcoin? Well, on my flight back, because I didn't know how long I was going to be out there, I just bought a one way. Well,

on my flight back, I'm paying for this ticket. And I see this option for Bitcoin. And so I pay for the flight. And then I spent that entire day falling down the rabbit hole, trying to figure out what Bitcoin was and learning about it. And I've been in the game. Ever since like a week after I went out and bought a ant minor S1 is the

first ant minor minor that was out there. And yeah, I was mining with that. And I was doing pretty good. I bought some grid seeds and some butterfly, some used butterfly lab boxes. And I was doing my thing, man. And upgraded my ant minor S1 to put a wide fire card on it. And they had a kit where you could upgrade the one. 180 giga hash

rig to 360 giga hash. So I thought I was fucking doing something back in the day. You know what I'm saying? I thought I was doing something back in the day. And once that rig became unprofitable, it just became a giant heater that would death. And but you know, generate heat in your house. So, right. Just kind of turned it off. And I forgot about it.

And fast forward, you know, 2017. I'm hearing a lot about Bitcoin. You know, both in the news and I was on Twitter, you know, but I didn't really follow Bitcoin people and a bump into the shout out to him. I bumped into Manza Godson. And he was talking about Bitcoin and it made me go back and look at my wallet. And I was like, Oh, shit.

Like this. Right. You know, I was like, I should have stuck with this. You know, I'm saying I probably be filthy. Rich right now. You do know, you do know, man, you had me in some type of weird suspense here, where you started mining in 2014. And I was like, I, I fell out of my chair, man. You probably didn't hear it. I had to, you

had me at the edge of my seat. So, so you, you had basically just, uh, went on Bitcoin hiatus for what, almost three years. Yeah. Wow. How much? I, cause it just wasn't profitable anymore. Okay. And I had also moved back. I was in the East Coast. So I, I wasn't trying to find free flights anymore. Right. And you have to fly out West anymore. And,

uh, you know, I just sat on it. And, um, you know, fast forward. I'm looking up. I'm like, wow, but, um, when I got into the space, Bitcoin was not a store value. The way it is today was money. Right. And so I spent Bitcoin. I was personally going out trying to find retailers that accepted Bitcoin. And so over stock.com and, uh, like, my favorite spots,

I would just go there and just buy shit. Yeah. Yeah. Wow. Um, yeah. I mean, you know, I have, you know, I wish I hadn't done that because you know, I wouldn't be here right now. But, it's no big deal, man. Like I have Bitcoin faucet wallets that I, I have no idea where they are. Like I could try to, if we all have a story

like that, it's almost like getting a bad tattoo. You know what I'm saying? Like when we made those formative steps, we didn't know what we were doing. You know, exactly. Exactly. So it's all good, though. Man, I have absolutely no complaints and no regrets. Um, I've been running this show now almost three years. It'll be three years. Wow. It's three years this month that I've been

doing cigars and crypto. And, uh, she's the labor love brother. She's just a labor love, man. You know, so yo, I want to talk to you about two things because I know that you're crypto advocate. We won't get to that, right? But first off, where are you finding these cars that you post on IG all the time? Oh, wow. Yeah, man, I had no idea what

you were talking about. But, um, yeah, man. So out, you know, East Coast, um, I'm up in Bridgeport, man. I'm up in Connecticut. So it's like, we, we have a lot of, uh, modifiers and fabricators and people who, you know, humble people, man, who just go all in. So I, I imagine with this level of curiosity, you're talking about like the Sylvia's and stuff like that.

Yeah, man. Yo, so, um, I ride, I ride bikes, you know, I ride road bikes and motorcycles and big bikes. You know what I'm saying? So I was, I was on a ride one day and I pulled up. Uh, I kind of, uh, I'm a veteran. The top two. So, you know, my head's always on the swivel and just out of corner my eye. I caught

a skyline one day and I'm not, bro, I'm not gonna say that they're coming up here, but, um, you kind of get to see them a little bit more now. Um, up here. We have like, you know, they got right hand crews out here. You know, so you down in Delaware? Yeah, I have man, a Wilmington. Yeah. Yeah. So I used to pop into that. A

Wilmington, you know, Philly and everything like that. Um, matter of fact, I'm going to give you a shout out. I'll check out one of my followers. Um, talk less photography. I don't know if you've seen him on my IG. Um, he's been in super street. Um, so when I said, when I say this man that I got in the cars like, um, you know, I got

into when fast and the furious was out. This is when I, you know, I had just bought, I had some kind of American car at the time, but I was getting into the sport compact. So I really learned how to drive on the streets over the air. First of all, and then of course, you know, um, Autobahn, just like, you know, going fast is, there's something

I've been doing for a long time. And so when I'm out on the ride or a run or just, you know, commute back and forth in our city's cars, you know, I'm going to go ahead and, you know, highlight the owners and why not and try to, you know, keep building that rapport with the, with that community because I love cars always have always well. Yeah,

man. Always impressed every time you drop a new photo on an idea, one of those cars. Man, I'm just like, wow, beautiful rice, man, and you can sell it. People invest a lot of time. Uh, money, energy, and love into them. You know what I mean? To keep them, uh, looking the way they do, you know, yeah, yeah. Good. I mean, thanks for that. And, you

know, I'm not the best photographer, but, um, I like the dope though. Oh, good. Thanks. Man. Thanks. The dope. So, and so, yo, man, you, you know, it's actually a great segue into my next question because, uh, I, I noticed you post a lot about road bikes. You, you're a bike, you're a cyclist. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Tell me how you got into that, brother. I mean,

I think when I learned a ride a bike, I think it was that much more different for me than all the other kids. I don't know why. And it's a good question because I was just thinking about this the other day. Um, you know, so I think I started riding, you know, five is, oh, we start riding the bike like a normal Kid. Except two years

later, I was riding dirt bikes. And for me, speed is, I'm addicted. So, um, ahh, before cycling, I was a runner. And, you know, I still run now, too. But, I, when I graduated from college, I kind of dropped off mountain Je Excuse me. It's not you, but the tyre fell on us, yeah. Is it not so much different now than this bike, I mean, it's

like a bicycle bike. How about that ShEX is quite famous out. I zipped a bike. I wouldn't dare. I did not guess what it was like, a bike. I never thought it would hurt. Oh... It seemed shown at me. I just wanted to understand the ride, remember could be a motorcycle bike crash and especially replacing it with a bike for friends. I don't know. I started,

I started riding the bike 180 miles a week and running every other day. Um, you know, for your audience, if you're looking for any type of workout inspiration, if you want to tap into, you know, athlete, you didn't even know was there. I listened to, to stick man. The first album is actually called The Workout. And, you know, it's a collection. Of works that are, you

know, really inspirational about nutrition, about addiction, about body mechanics, about breathing. Like, you know, it's just... You know, I remember when I started running, like, you know, on my own, like, you, you remember being in the military and never wanting to run, right? Or not wanting to run. I was watching the morning, right? Right, right, right. So, some years after, you know, being out of the

military, and not some years, about two years after being out of the military, you know, I suffered with like, really bad depression. And it was like a, um, I didn't know it at that time, you know, um, what was happening was a classic textbook PTSD breakdown. And I remember looking out of my window year after year. In a direction that I had never driven in before,

let alone wanting to go running. And one day I walked out the door and I ran in that direction. You know, all I had was some, some Charles Barclays, you know, I'm saying I didn't even have proper running shoes, but I knew that I needed to do more from my mind and my body than just getting off of work and going to sleep. You know what

I'm saying? So, fast forward, uh, on a road bike, you can produce a runner's high almost that will. And I think to keep it honest, I think that that's why a lot of cyclists, like if you're ever seen, like, some of these cyclists, you know, they'll post hundreds of miles rides in a day. It's, it's a certain kind of mentality and mind body thing that you

have to be willing to do to really put the miles in on a bike like that. So it's, we all gravitate towards it. And I keep it honest. I think people really get addicted to the endorphins and even at the endorphins. I think that's a pain. It's like, uh, you know, that's the crew there. So you ride bikes, are you, are you looking to get into

it? Cause I know this is, this is something that, uh, it grew exponentially all over the country. But there's a lot more black cyclists now. And I was wondering, are you trying to get into it? No, man, I need to have my fat ass on a bike though. Real talk. I need to, but no, I'm not trying to get into it. I have a bike just

to kind of pedal around the neighborhood other than that. But that's good though. You know, most people don't even do that. Yeah, that's true. That's very true, man. Very true. So tell me about your experience with crypto. What are you up to nowadays, man? Are you a trader investor? You just kind of keep up with community. Yeah. So I guess one of the best ways to

explain this is, uh, so I'm a real risk and portfolio manager. Like I'm a certified risk and portfolio manager. So, um, for a long time, I was just holding. And then probably maybe 2018, 2019, I tried some trading. You know, I mean, like I tried trading Bitcoin before, but it doesn't take long for you to understand the loss of Satoshi value. So I don't ever really

recommend that people trade, especially if you, like, you know, I'm not sure if you're going to get into it. I don't know what you're doing. Right. Right. And if you look back on my IG, uh, as well as the, um, uh, crypto underscore Q IG, I have, uh, ripple charts. You know, I have like, oh, ripple charts, man. So I didn't realize really how long I've

been doing this and, and posting charts and, you know, putting down facts. Um, so, then maybe in 2020, again, I had to stop trading because I was like, you know, you were watching it just like everybody else. Like you, you, you get that moment where you have to sit down and rethink everything you thought was happening because, you know, that huge leg up was, it was

a global thing. You know what I'm saying? It was just like, um, they all feel the same. The like one when like one went to like $45 that day, all of those moves that they kind of, they mimic each other in a way where as a community, if we're, if you're all watching it, you have to realize that that is global movement at not some market

time? Yeah, at 100% is. So, I also don't believe in playing zero some games. Uh, all that to say, um, you know, I, I didn't realize I was creeping in the DeFi when I was. But I'm not going to lose out on, on what all these people are doing right now. You know what I'm saying? Like, so. You know, to answer your question, if, if I

did, I know, uh, I kind of hit a couple of different points, but. If you don't know, if a person doesn't know what they're doing, I, you know, stay away from trading at all costs because it's going to. You might make a lot of money, you know, quote unquote money doing it is to the dollar values, you know, uh, you might think you have an income

and everything like that. And the next thing you know, this coin that you knew. Little to nothing about goes from being $2 to being $20 or $30 and, you know, you, you, you look back at your trades and you made nothing. So I, I suggest people, you know, do their own research, D, DYOR and get into some good projects that, you know, you can hope for

a while and maybe look at income in the future. But, you know, right now, man, the name of the game is, uh, weight patiently. You know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, I feel you're in that, man. Yeah. You know, I think about a lot of the things that I've done in this space. And I have my fair share of regrets. There's some things that, you know,

I wish I had not have done projects that I wish I had not gotten into. Um, scams that I felt victim to, uh, in 2017. Um, but. All in all, man, for me, Bitcoin's where it's at. Yeah. I don't, I don't knock people who, um, dabble in other things. I don't even knock people who believe that other things are better than Bitcoin. Right. Because my view

is my view and your view is your view. But for me, the only thing that I am consistently willing to hold for a long time. Because I expect the value to increase. It is Bitcoin. I look at Bitcoin the same way I look at a 401k and a savings account. Yep. And, and that's the way I roll. Now, with that said, and I've been opening, and

I've been opening, transparent about this one Twitter. I have cashed out three times in my life. Wow. And I have absolutely no regrets about that. And, you know, a lot of Maximilis, you know, they say, you know, that was stupid. Do you know how much you would have if you just held, you know, uh, you know, from when you first got in or from when you

first started. And I say, yeah, but. And investment in me is more valuable than anything that else that I invest in. Yeah. 100%. When I cash out, I cash out because I'm investing in me. Right. Like my podcast setup, everything. All that shit I cashed out for Bitcoin. Oh, yeah. My dream ride. You know, a lot of people you talk about lambos and Bentley trucks and

coups and shit. My dream ride is a Jeep Wrangler. I. I know that's basic for some people. Um, I've had my fear. I've had my. It's hard, bro. It's hard, bro. I had to get me one. Of course. You know, sad. It'll get me one. Like, I cashed out. And so now, you know, whether Bitcoin goes a million dollars or it goes zero every time I

walk outside and I got that key in my hand. I'm good. Yeah. Of course. You know, I'm good. The other thing that I find about a lot more valuable than I do. I've been told about using Bitcoin because I have as well. I'm also. I'm also, you know, any. Ethereum advocate. I've been told. And I don't know if you've noticed this, but it's like. People who

are into. ETH. There's like another. Other etiquette that you kind of have to have online. People are very. A lot of people are against it. But, you know, I use these cryptocurrencies, man. Like, unstoppable web. Like you have to, you know, they charge fees and ETH and gas. So it's just like. Like when I talked about trading earlier. You know, when I got into selling shit

coins, man, I was. You know, clipping off, man, click, click, click. And one day I clicked and the. The warning popped up and said, you have no Ethereum. And I was like, I didn't even get it. This is how early that was. I had. I had no understanding that. I had to have ETH in my wallet to make those trades. So ever since then. I'm not

going to. I kind of more just started a dollar cost averaging into ETH. Because. I was never expecting that punt, you know, last year and this year. Like even having watched Ethereum go from. Two or three dollars to $7. You know what I'm saying? Then to. Into $14. At this stage, you know, with all the ETH killers and all of them. You know, I'm just waiting

for the tech to evolve. But, you know, I. I'm just one of those people who still. And I'm just wondering if you're thinking about the same thing. You know, if you're going to trade, you have to have a certain amount of Ethereum. So it means you might as well be buying it as you go along anyway. And I think with respect to that. That. That's just

like. This kind of just like doing doing good business. Like you have to incorporate the cost of the trade. And even just saying stuff like that. And people kind of look at you like, yeah, but it's ETH. And blah blah. And I'm like, well, that's just like. That's just like. That's kind of just like doing doing good business. Like you have to incorporate the cost of

the trade. And even just saying stuff like that. Can you think of another way to do this right now? Because I can't. If other people, you know, they're working on it. But for right now. That coin for that utility. You know, if I'm, if I'm being honest about it, man, when they help even Bitcoin is. When you think about accumulating Bitcoin, you might still have to

use it at some point in the future, right? It's it's like. Right. It's like buying. I don't know. Do. They do this in and will maintain like where you can buy your oil, basically on futures, your oil company, you can make a deal and say, I'll pay X amount of front to get such and such rate over the winter or over two winners or something like

that. Well, that that's something that they do here, man, because the cost of living is so high here, people. Some of the companies actually offer something along the lines of like a futures contract where, you know, you don't have to. Opt in to, you know, pay the current rate, you can essentially pay a deposit on the future price of your oil. And I look at Ethereum

exactly the same way. Once they say, guess, once they said utility, once they said those fees, I said, oh, man, I might have to, you know, use this in the future and not be bashful about buying it. So. That's the. You think. So, man, I kind of. I don't know, man. It's I don't see it is for me because I don't dabble with ERC 20s or.

So steep for me. Even now, man, and, and you know, I may trade shit twice a month. If you know what I mean. I look at a chart and I'll hide all for three to six months until it hits my price target. And then I'm in an opposition. Absolutely. Right. Absolutely. But. I don't even trade ERC 20s. You know what I mean? So hearing that from

don't mind. Huddling a coin for three to six months or a year. Because I expected to go somewhere. But I expected to go somewhere in terms of Satoshi value. So that I can go flip out the Bitcoin. Keep moving. You know what I mean? Yeah. But yeah, man, this conversation is really prompted me to go out, grab some books and start reading and learning. I'm not

saying I'm going to, you know, dive into that arena or delve into that space. But I like to know what's going on around me at any given time. You know what I mean? So let me ask you a question, brother. Where do you see the future of cryptocurrency Bitcoin and blockchain? I think you can see a lot more growth in the DFI space. You're going to

see a lot of. Some of these coins are going to come of age. I would say in the next three to five years. I think we're going to see a lot more growth in the DFI space. You're going to see a lot of. So I think we're going to see a lot more growth in the DFI space. We're going to see a lot more growth in

the DFI space. More times on Valentine's Day, like they're really getting it, man. Like these people are not playing around anymore. And they have, you know, the different protocols have automated market makers and stuff like that. So I see. You know, you know, I mean, I'm so long term that, you know, you asking that question. I kind of, I'm almost stumped because I'm. I'm more excited

for. You know, what's coming on after that? I think that. You know, we're going to see a lot more automation. And that the actual thing. All of those things happen about the same time. I know I heard it somewhere. The word Bitcoin. I. I told you Bitcoin trade told me about it. And then I watched this video called at the speed of money. So with the.

We're concerned to blockchains. I think that. Eventually, blockchains will be automated. And we're not there yet. A lot of people think that. AI and machine learning that, you know, that this stuff is is is waiting around the corner to take your job. And. It is because it's in development. But it takes, you know, machines incredibly long time to learn things. But eventually. Um. You know, we're

going to see. Some of these coins that we know about now are going to automate. Other coins and other D5 without the. You know, there may be governance and people, you know, that that where they can't even throw around anymore because. Eventually, I think. The blockchains will become automated. And. Um. I'm excited for education. I don't know if you heard or not, but. Uh, this space

financial literacy, you know, to include crypto and financial literacy. This is the fastest growing. Uh, subject matter in the community right now. And as well as. To some degree globally, like people are. This is what people want to learn about right now. So hopefully what's going to happen in the next three to five years. Is. We'll continue bridging all these gaps. And more people will seek

better opportunities in the space beyond consumerism. That's my goal. That's the message that I try to get across to. Any students and clients is. Um, you know, education first and. Let's. Let's start buying up these little pieces where we can now. So we're not left behind. You know, we can't have this happen. Again. And again, and again, especially now in the open source community, where there's

so many people who know about it. So I'm overall really optimistic for crypto and blockchains in the next three to five years. That's beautiful brother.
