Now here's your host, Invest New York. Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to this episode of cigars and crypto. You know who it is. It's your boy, New York. Now let me tell you, you know we cannot have
the cigars and crypto podcast. If we don't talk about cigars and I am happy to introduce my new friend from Instagram. She goes by her cigar closet. How are you today? Hey, what's going on? I'm doing good. How are you? I cannot complain. It's a great day. I have been up. I have been busy all day. I have not had my first cigar yet, but I
plan on having one just a little bit later on. How about you? How was your day so far? So far as good, you know, the usual routine wake up, make breakfast, get the kids together. I actually just sat down, just lit my first cigar and poured me a little soup. Yeah, there we go. There we go. All right. So what are you smoking right now? I
am smoking a aval heritage. I know when I when I lit it up, I was like, man, I'm sorry, can we hear some air? Oh, you sure can you go. Okay, okay. When I lit it up, I was like, damn, I should have waited. Maybe like my second or third cigar. I have an event to go to later on this afternoon. And I'm like, I haven't
eaten. And this is like a pretty medium to full body cigar. Yeah. So it was just. Let's see what happens. Okay. That's cool. And what do you see? I am finishing off the last of the old fourster, 1920. I'm a bit just now. Okay. Yeah, this one is 115 proof. So I'm trying to get the day started. Yeah, you go hard. I got you. I got
you. No problem. I got you. Now for me, I think I am a big fan of a boutique brands. And I think my first of the day will probably be a Mombacho League of My Stroke. Okay. I think that maybe the right I go. If not, I do have a few just a couple of CIO Amazon bases that I may light up. So. Oh, that's another
one of my favorite. Yeah, we'll see. Look, if you find any basins wherever you are, please let me know. I'm always looking for boxes. I go hard. When it comes to the boxes for that. Okay. Okay. Cool. Definitely. I think of one of my friends, AJ, he owns a bono cigars in a suburb here. And they do have the men's stocks. So I'll definitely send him
a text. Yes. A couple boxes for you. Yeah. So you know, it pays to know people. It really does. You know, no friend coming through for you. There you go. In the clutch. You can't be. Okay. Yeah, I heard that. Yeah, I heard that. Yes. You heard it. Most definitely. So. Tell me about yourself. What got you into cigars? I've started probably a little over seven
years ago. And my husband was a, like, true cigar smoker. I was never want to even try to pick up anything. The cigarette joint, anything, let it on the cigar. And I don't, I really can't remember. I don't know. All of those he wanted me to go out with him once to one lounge. I went. I actually enjoyed like the conversation, the vibe, the library, you
know, feel to the whole lounge and. The guys were kind of like pressure on me and they were like, I want you to try. You got to try. So my very first cigar was an asset, who would who would. And. Then I went to. Asset blind. I believe. So they get me started on the flavor tips and by the third time I came back to the
shop, it was like, okay, that's enough. You did not really get your feet wet with movie right along. And they pushed me right to like a medium for a body. So. It's getting to the point where my husband is like. I believe you smoke more than I do. Like I believe you like what the hell is going on. This was my hobby. And you just took
over it. And now it's like he's following me in the tracks. So. I mean, we're working. You know, we work hand to hand. We work together. I mean, he supports everything that I'm doing, everything that I'm trying to do now. And the only issue that we have is. I guess keeping his hands out of my human door. So. That's probably the biggest issue that we. Now
you heard it. You heard it right. I'm sure that everybody him not going into her human door. Okay. That's a level up. I'm feeling that I like that. I did. And it's called her cigar closet for reason. Okay. I got you. You said. Yeah. But he's really supportive of everything that I'm doing in the culture and the community industry. Yeah. Like right now he's actually helping
me convert our guest Bay of Rome to. Like a mini smoking my house. Wow. Yeah. So. Yep. It's working out. Yeah. Sounds like it. You know, we had a chance to talk during pre-roll. And you just mentioned something that kind of peak my interest. You said all the things you're working on. Before we got started, we were talking about the Shai Town cigar experience. Tell me
about that. Okay. So let me backtrack a little bit and make it really quick. I got to be a brand ambassador for Atlanta cigar experience last September. And basically my role was to go around a different. At each event, introduce myself. Tell people exactly who I am and what I had going on and what I was getting ready to work on. And with that. I've managed
to co host different events and parties. For Atlanta, after that, I was asked to come to Las Vegas and do the same thing. And after that, the actual host and founder of the cigar experience. Invited me to be a partner with him and wanted to do something here in Chicago. So with that being said, it's July 19 through 25th. And we're going to have a week
long. Of cigar events. We have lab music. We have different vent cigar vendors coming out. We're going to end the week with like a big ol' picnic and then brunch on Sunday. So it's going to be real, really, really interesting. We've never had anything like that here in Chicago. So to get everybody to come in from out of town. We have different lounges coming in. They're
super excited. To become sponsors, to get their names on as, you know, to get more exposure for themselves. So yeah, we are basically wrapping up the last of the details. So we can go ahead and just start flooding social media and everyone's timeline. Now you're coming right. Yo, you were reading my mind. You were reading my mind. You heard. We purposely put it. Yeah, we purposely
put it in July so that everybody can feel kind of like, I'm not comfortable because I get so many comments. I don't come to Chicago between, what did I say, between September and April. Okay. They scared of the snow. They scared the snow in the wind. Right. Now I'll be there. Your boy in the war would be in the building. I am expecting all of my
listeners and all of my social media followers to pull up. We will be in the shy July 19th through July 25th. You will catch up. I will be rocking the therapy and I will have a beautiful cigar in my mouth. And I will do I will actually record while I'm out there. Yes, I was actually getting ready. I was going to say that we have a
couple of media passes and so I would love for you to be a part of the media recording setting up at the actual event, you know, interviewing people. Yeah, that'd be cool. That sounds like a win. I love the fly and I love the smoke cigar. So that's like the best of both worlds for me. Cool. That's perfect. I know right now you guys are finalizing
details, but if people have more questions about the shot, 10 cigar experience, where could they find information? How should they contact you or contact the page? We're still working on the website that should be out in a couple of weeks. As far as direct contact or any questions, they can DM me on Instagram. Instagram at her cigar closet. You can also email me at shaitownsigarexperienceatgmail.com. And
everything comes directly to me. So I'll get back with you, you know, probably within like the day or two, depending on what's going on. That sounds good. That sounds really good. So you heard it folks. Make sure you pull up DM her at her cigar. She's a classic or email at shaitownsigarexperienceatgmail.com. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you there. I'm looking forward to smoking with
all of you there. And I look forward to having some live bases while I'm out there as well. You know what I mean? Oh, yeah. Yeah. That's right. That's going to be lit. So. So are you like a, are you like a bourbon drinker or more of a scotch or you know what? I am a rum drinker. Okay. Yeah. I have a floor decarna. Yes. Yes.
Yes. Okay. Speak into me now. Feeling. Speak into me now. Okay. I was actually watching a Facebook live with claws from Davidoff. And they were actually interviewing someone. And that was the drink of choice. And they went through all of these flavor profiles. They match it all cigar. Then we were smoking. And I had to run out to our local store. Benny's grab a bottle. Yes.
It's excellent. Okay. Matter of fact, you know what now that we're talking about this. Shout out to my man Thunder. My man to he. He's out of the shy. He we smoked together every week on our herf society. Virtua herf. Shout out to him because he talks about bitties all the time and how he pulls out of these. He grabs the guards and everything. So shout
out to my man. I got a shout out of my. That's my dog. What? His name. His name is to he's but he goes by thunder. Yeah. By thunder on Twitter. I don't know if he's on IG. But. Okay. I had to shout. I had to shout my dog out. I'll make sure I link up with him while I'm out there. And I got a couple
of other folks on my herf. Definitely. Tell him to reach out to me on Instagram. We probably have run into each other. My house before. Okay. Yeah. I make sure that I make sure that I do that. Hey. Are you looking to invest? That's the big coin. Coin Flip is the easiest way to buy coin Flip ATMs let you trade cash directly for crypto. And you

Find a coin Flip ATM location near you at coin Flip dot tech. That's CO I. N. F. L. I. P. dot T. E. C. H. Coin Flip dot tech. Don't forget. Use
that discount code. You know, we were also talking during pre-roll about. How you are working to bring more women into the cigar culture. And one of the things you mentioned was in ebook. Do you want to talk about that? Oh, sure. Yeah, we can. Um, So one day, well, I have been on a hunt looking for a cigar notebook. Um, to where I can keep my
different flavor profiles. I can keep the wrapper. Um, I can take notes and then always refer back to the book. And there were so many. I was on Amazon. So there were so many different choices. And I was actually trying to find one that was basically created by Black. Black woman or Black man. And the ones that I came across, they were nice, but they were
not me. They were, they didn't fit the style that I wanted to have when I go to a certain lounge and pull this book out. Or if I wanted to take pictures with it, it just wasn't speaking to me. Um, so I was sitting around one day and. I was with a friend and I started learning how to retrohale and. And I was like, well, I'm
not going to be a different notes. And so I just started jotting down notes. And I'm like, well, how hard is it to basically create my own manual to help other women. Um, feel comfortable and, you know, get it's much. Uptane is much knowledge as possible. And I'm writing it down and I'm writing down. And then I happen to look over and my cousin is an
author and she wrote her first book last year. And I looked over at the bookshelf and I'm like, okay. Let me call her. Our call to her. She says she's going to go ahead and sit down and work with me. Help me out. Um, we get I had so many women. You know, they're like, well, how do you cut it? What's the difference between this cut?
How can you tell the flavors and all I taste is just blending just tobacco and a girlfriend of mine crystal from space, cigars, shout out to space cigars. Um, we actually sat down with her. When we were in Vegas and we actually literally somebody was recording us and we literally took her through each step, picking the cigar. Um, choosing the right cut for the cigar, lighting
the cigar properly rotating it, smoking it, teaching her not to inhale, you know, going through the whole basis. And after we did the video, who's okay, we're going to edit it and maybe post on Instagram, which we still haven't. But, um, one of the guys at the left, I think, I'm going to go ahead and do a little bit of the work. And at the bar,
he was like, you guys should actually like maybe teach a class or host something online to where it's private and intimate with these women can feel comfortable and not being bare as you know around men or around other women that actually smoke. And so I just put two and two together, I'm like, well, let me come up with this book to give them a couple of
rules. This, this, this and that. And which leads me to her thing with her cigar. And I'm going to go to the right class, which will probably begin in the summertime. So with that being said, I'm trying to wrap all it up together to, you know, make it flow real smoothly and and work out. So hopefully it works out for me. I mean, all I can
do is try, put it out there and just let it go. You know, the only travesty would be you not trying to do it. Because there's someone out there. That needs what you are producing. Someone needs that. You know, and I wish you well on that. Matter of fact, when you drop that book, make sure you DM me and I'll have you back on so we
can talk about it, pump it up and get people drive traffic to your website so people can buy it. Perfect. Perfect. I would love that. Yeah, let's do that. So awesome. You know, I tell myself that all the time I'm like, it's only you that stop yourself. Like somebody just. The same the same way I was looking for that particular like journal is somebody else is
still looking for the same thing. So why not create something that fits. My style. And I'm sure there are the women, you know, that have the same style as well. So yeah, we're going to go ahead and make that happen. That is the best way to think about it. The best way to think about it. So let me ask you another question. Tell me what is
your favorite cigar? Oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh. Oh, my goodness. Let's see. Okay. My absolute. I like. First of all, like all different types of cigars. I'm a boutique smoker just like you. But my favorite favorite every day would be the first. Herrera's telly Miami. Okay. Every single day I can smoke that if I'm stranded on an island, I can smoke it every day. Okay.
I got you. Shout out to El Titan De Bronze and a little Havana Miami. I visited their facility once. Willie Herrera's wife is so nice and so. Is that standing? Yes. She gave me a tour of the spot when I was down there. I had a blast while I was there. Shout out to them. The Herrera Estile Miami is amazing. I will definitely see that. Yes,
it is. So let me throw a little twist in there. Okay. My Amy Red Label or Black Label? The Red Label is my all-time favorite. Okay. All right. I am still in search of the Red Label. I have a friend. I have a friend that he's a Jewish state ambassador. Jewish state rep. And he actually located at a box of the Red Labels for me. They're
in a big, like in a small town in Nevada. So I'm actually going to reach out to them. They keep telling me that the Red Label and the Black Label is the same exact. I don't think so. I don't think so. It's not. It's not. And I smoke the Black Label of course. Don't get me wrong. But it is not the same. I'm like, y'all trying
to trick a system. You can't do that. Right. Right. I smoke. You know, so I can tell the difference. Yeah. So definitely my favorite. So let me, let me see what I can do on my head because I want to say a month and a half, maybe two months ago, I bumped into a box of Herrera Estile Miami Red Label and Sarah. And I noticed that
they had a been flying off the shelf. Oh my goodness. If I can get my hands on that box, I will deem you and I'll let you know. Perfect. Perfect. I love that one too. Okay. You know, my Sarah is a girl's best friend. Okay. Okay. I didn't know, but I know now. Okay. So much flavor. You get so much flavor. Yeah. It's, you know, it's,
it's a date. I don't want to call it like cuted dainty because I know me and smoke my Sarah's too. But, um, given us that, like hand features, but because we're so much of a small frame than you all, it's, it's just sexy. It's just something about holding it in a Sarah smoking it and not going overboard, you know, with the gauge and, you know, the
mouth and how people, I'm not, I'm not a 60 gauge girl. Yeah. I'm a Corona fan myself. I'm not a big fan of anything larger than a robust or I'm a Corona. Yeah. Yeah. I'm more a robust girl. I love this size. That's like my favorite size. Yeah. Okay. I'm getting an opportunity to learn a lot about you, sister. I appreciate you sharing that information with
me. I, um, that Herrera Estilini, Miami, actually threw me off. I was not expecting that to be what you said was your favorite. But I understand why it's your favorite because it is an amazing cigar. Definitely amazing cigar. Most definitely. Yeah. So it was, it was your favorite. Yeah. See, I was just getting ready to get to that. Okay. My favorite really depends on my mood.
Um, if I, if I had to say that I was only going to smoke once a guard for the rest of my life and I would never be able to smoke another. It would be the C.A.O. M. Wow. Okay. That is my favorite cigar. The, the cold draw is phenomenal. You get a hint of raising, impulms and, and, and when you toast the foot and actually
like the cigar, you still get those flavor profiles and it's absolutely amazing. So that for me is probably my all time, the only cigar ever smoked to that die favorite. Okay. With that. I said, the HVC 500th anniversary is my favorite everyday smoke. I could smoke that every day. Okay. Um, also I like the legal my show by my macho. Mm hmm. You know, that's box
worthy to me. So it really depends on my mood. How I'm feeling. If I'm working nine times out of 10, I've lit up a HVC. I like that phrase you just use box worthy. Yeah, yeah, you have certain cigars that you would purchase by the box as opposed to just one or two here and there. Yeah, that's pretty cool. Yeah. I'm, um, well, I can't really
get like a box like as a Zion is like my coat like my minus my everyday favorite smoke as a Zionist like my go to every single day number one. Um, right now I probably have over 50 different. As a Zionist cigars and I'm steady getting them because they keep playing with me and they keep. Releasing different blends. So I'm like forced like everyone's there Friday.
I'm like forced to buy a five pack of the newest one that comes out. And I just keep them, you know, smoke one here. Sometimes I do trades. Um, have a group of guy friends that we alternate when we purchase the packs and then we would split them and share. But yeah, it's if if I can get like a box like a 10 count. I would
definitely every time. I have a plug on some as resigns. I reach out to you to see what you have and what you don't have. And then if I can find something for you. Um, I, I think that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to turn you on of those. Perfect. That sounds good. Yeah. So that sounds good. Let's, I want to wrap up. But
I want people to know where we can find you and where we can get more information about the things that you're doing. So give everyone who's listening. All the information that they need to reach out to you. They want to talk to you. Okay. Um, again, you can reach me on Instagram at her cigar closet. Um, you can get a lot of information. You can DM
me. I am very sociable. I'm willing to chat with anyone. Um, I'm on Facebook. I normally don't post anything in regards to say guys because you know you have family and you have your church members and things like it's kind of personal. But if you have to reach me on Facebook. My name is Brandi Wheat and that's Brandi with an I. I'll be more than happy
to respond in the message as well. You can reach me at shiitown cigar experience at gmail.com. Yeah. I have no issues with chatting, talking. I'm perfectly fine with that. As a matter of fact, after this, I am actually getting on Instagram live with a friend. I believe she's from well, we can kind of met like through. Like a cigar social club bearer partners. Um, so we're
going to do Instagram live today at one 45 central time. And we're just going to, you know, just randomly talk, talk about cigars. Talk about up for nomination for sister, the leaf year award with spades with space cigar smoke fest. So yeah, if you're not doing anything, you can definitely hop on. Yeah. And anybody else. Just. You can always find me on Instagram. I got you.
I want to take a moment to say thank you so much for spending time with me today, educating me and my listeners as well. I'm looking forward to having you back on so that we can continue to discuss the shiitown cigar experience and your ebook with that be cool. Most definitely. Yes, most definitely. Awesome. Ladies and gentlemen, her cigar closet. Thank you so much. You have
an awesome. Thank you. Thank you.
