so how I finally got diagnosed with PCOS after a long roller coaster ride um started in my early teens like it does for so many women had very irregular cycles and painful painful cycles and acne so what'd the doctor do same thing they do with almost everyone put me on birth control pills completely masked it every time I'd go off birth control I would get these
Wicked cycles and acne and mood swings and then I go back on the pill and it would mask it and then when I finally went off the pill to try and get pregnant I couldn't get pregnant and so that's when it started to show up and still I wasn't diagnosed so it took me four years to get pregnant and then I went back on the pill
and it was masked and when I finally went off the pill for good I was in my 30s and I thought I was going into early menopause I got acne again no Cycles was having all kinds of crazy symptoms and I went to a functional medicine doctor and she went my dear you do you are not going into early menopause you have PCOS and she ran
