to gain control in nearly 4 Ines of snow slamming into one another on icy overpasses traffic backed up for miles we started slipping and sliding slowed down to about 20 mph and then made it past the tunnel and then now was it in wiah Kansas cars slipping and sliding on Interstate during the morning commute we are slammed with calls I was talking to dispatch while ago

the phones just keep blowing up one woman reported seriously injured on Interstate 70 schools in the area closed the system now headed for the Northeast where some Inland areas could expect up to a foot of snow the biggest snowstorm for many in years from New York to Boston all right so let's get right back to Rob with us again tonight time it out for us all

right David well the forecast hasn't changed it's one of those storms where what you get completely depends on exactly where you live the watches have been upgraded the warnings for a huge trunk of the Northeast sliding back through South Carolina the storm itself right now is crossing the Mississippi heavier rains coming into the southeast and the Snows Shield tomorrow will be in Cincinnati by morning also

a mixy mix into uh parts of Virginia and DC that quickly changes over to rain in DC Philly Baltimore snows by the dinner hour here in New York City we could see an inch or two four it changes over to rain because this low is close enough to push the ocean mild air across I 95 that's kind of Prett pretty much be your rain snow line

Everything Changes back over to snow there'll be some wind with this as well 1 to 3 in in the New York Metro Area 3 to six it's a couple of more miles Inland and then six to 12 a mere 20 miles Inland power outage is possible preparations any sort of travel before the storm should happen tomorrow morning David the only good thing about this is it's
