think it's fair to say that it's impossible to be passionate about movement a revolution without love for your family or for your community and we all have personal stories while we're here today I think this is an opportunity for us to re-center those women's voices and for myself and care to hear from you and to reflect on what more we can do so that those voices
are Amplified my campaign started when my dad was yeah I did make a vow to not do any activism and focus on my life after he was released but then of course everything else happened and now I'm even more active they have been involved in political activities and I was an activist During the Revolution I was very young at that time so they persecuted me because
of my continuation against the Islamic the public of Iran they didn't mind who did what they just executed people and young people similar to what they are doing at the moment when I came to the UK my own interpreter become a victim of owner killing they took it back to Iraqi Kurdistan they killed her there the husband returned to the UK and it was no any
persecution and he was free walking down the street in the UK in London when I called police they told me this is your culture on a killing and we have to respect that otherwise you will call us racist they were looking for a 110 number of Freedom Fighters among them it was just two women and one of the women was me so in eight months I
was struggling to finding safe place until I came to England I was arrested for six years unfortunately when I came back we still left some people behind what I would like to see if the labor party comes into Power ideally would be put the put this in life in priority I used to think the government's pulling its punches in terms of criticism of Iranian hemorrhoids abuses
and there's a reluctance to hold around accountable the failure of the UK to have stood up for its citizens in our case and others embolden Iran then you had when someone lost their life if you look at what happens of course is that actually said here and say it's a bell that ripped tolls for us all I live here with my toddler I really don't feel
safe for myself for my toddler for my husband I was born into a family of activists my mother and IQ was you know I slowly on Iran I was raised outside of Prisons I don't understand why we have to wait for kids to die for us to remember that their human rights abuses in Iraq our lives are really stretch thing you know and we're trying to
be moms and wives and you know academics and make money and do all these human rights work I don't understand why we have to day in and day out Advocate with our natural allies I think we need to spend our energy really fighting the fight with our natural ideas the labor party has always been a party of equality and of Human Rights I've spent a lot
of my life fighting for human rights we need to make sure they absolutely are foundational when it comes to anything that we do in government
