afternoon to you my friend. How are you? Good morning to you. I'm well. How are you? I'm well, and I can't complain. Super busy as of late, super busy as of late. Just the way I like it. Life is never supposed to be boring and my life is never boring. So I cannot complain man. What's going on in your world? Right now really. There is progress

on the noir front, on the swap front, though not too much. Okay. Floor our main developer is working very hard on getting everything ready, which is why he hasn't joined us. And he has actually finished the swap tool, which we will use to have the swap done. And which will essentially I allow people to transfer the old coins to new, to the new coins essentially. And

right now he's basically making sure that the new core wallet is getting ready. And like is is hunting down bugs and all that. And then essentially the last thing to do for now for him will be to re implement the sigma protocol for the new core wallet. And so we're getting quite close now to a point where where we can actually show real progress again, not

just talk about it. Very good man. That's good to hear. You know, you guys are always working on something new. And I know flow is always actively engaged in development. And I can see through discord that the community. It's also actively engaged. So that's a very beautiful thing man. Very beautiful thing. Any ETA on when it will be ready. I don't have anything on that front.

No, okay. Okay. I know that flow and Christian are basically working on the service for the swap on the side. Mm hmm. But as always with developments. If everything might go smoothly, everything might not go smoothly. Um, and so I we don't have any ETA yet. Okay. No problem. No problem. We'll be waiting with baited breath brother. How about that? That sounds good. And we'll of

course inform all of you once we do have an ETA. Right. We'll inform everyone on discord. It sounds good. It sounds good. So what else is going on man? How have you been? I've been well. I haven't had too much business I'd say. So I've had a bit more time to read again. Spend some more time reading. I've started learning to play the piano. Which I

quite enjoy. And yeah. That's beautiful man. Every time I talk to you, you're doing something new bro. Well, you can never stop learning. Right. That's you should you should never stop learning. Yeah. It's very true. Can of course try. I have so many things going on at this time in my life. Um, I haven't had an opportunity to kind of learn anything completely new. I've been

educating myself when the things that I'm working on. But one of my bucket list items is to learn how to play. To create the bass. Oh, yeah. That's nice as well. Yeah. I would love to learn how to play the bass. I'm a big jazz fan and a big reggae fan. And I would love to learn how to play the bass guitar. I think that'd be

amazing. Yeah. That'd be cool as well. Um, as a kid, I learned to play the guitar for a bit. But I ended up giving it up because. Well, in the end, the aren't. Very many songs. At least in the music that I like, which is more like the rock. And at least at that point in time as a kid, I mostly listen to rock music. And

there really aren't many rock songs that you can play. And that will sound good with just a guitar. And so slowly there just I didn't have any more motivation to keep learning. Because I couldn't. I couldn't play anything by myself that sounded good. And so. Yeah, it's, I mean, sure, you can do like the first few chords of some rock song, which is cool. But you

can't really play a whole song just on a guitar. And it and have it sound cool. Right. Right. And so at some point, I give that up. And I think that's what I'm going to do. I've been over the last like six, seven years. I've been listening to quite a bit of classic music as well. And especially some like more peaceful piano music in the background

when I read or work or whatever. And I mean, there just a lot of. Of, well, not songs, but. Yeah, pieces that. Just sound. Great. When just played with a piano. That I just made to be played with a piano and that I actually enjoy listening to. And so. I've, I've had this thought of of trying at least to learn the piano, because I didn't actually

know. Whether I'd like it, whether I have the motivation to learn it. And. So no, I got myself. And. attention to the markets as of late. A bit, but not terribly much. Yeah, and mostly just. The Bitcoin price and Elon Musk tweeting and. The value of my bitcoin. But really apart from that, not much. I've still been mining a bit. That was my next question. Yeah,

that was my next question. And. More sporadic though, because mining, at least where I'm where I'm mining at my session, the money I get has dropped quite a bit. And so right now, at least I think like yesterday was when I checked last, I made like not even four euros a day, which then like out of that comes a euro and a half of electric costs,

electric power costs, power costs, whatever. And so I could making like two and a half euros a day. And for that have have the computer on all night and. Blasting loudly. And like warm up the whole room. And so that that just isn't with it. But I keep at least for me. But I keep checking in like every day or two to see how much I

would currently get. And once it gets. So far five euros or so a day again, I'll probably. Mine again. So. Well, I tell you like this, man, those who mine during the bear market usually benefit most during the bull markets. That's something that I wish I had done instead of stop mining. I wish I would continue to invest in mining equipment and run hard during the

bear markets. So that when we when we were. You know, pick back up my investment, you know, what double triple quadruple value. Because I stuck with it, you know, miners have to have diamond hands to just like hard looks. So. Yeah. That's true. Yep. The problem is though that it's just uncomfortable. Because it's in my room. It's essentially like a meter away from my bed. And

especially now is it gets as it gets warmer. The room heats up by itself because essentially the sun is beating down. On the side of the room for the whole day. And so the room itself heats up quite a bit without the graphics card in my computer running hot the whole time essentially. Right. Right. And so it's just there is a point at which I say,

okay, this is. For like two years, two years a day, at least right now. I don't want to heat the room up even more and have the noise the whole day and all that. Totally understand. Is there anywhere else you can run your rig or is that computer the same mining rate of computer that you use every day. It's just my my normal gaming PC. After

all, I bought the graphics cards for gaming. Right. And just recently said, well, I could just use it in in my spare time for mining. Yeah. Okay. So it's more of an opportunity thing and not really love a, oh, hey, I have to make up the money I spent for the mining rig or anything. Okay. I see what you mean. I see what you mean. You're

better. Me and me. I find somewhere else in the house to put it, plug it up and leave it alone. Well, the problem with that is that I wouldn't have a computer to be on the whole day. Right. Right. Because I'm. I'm a person at least currently who. Essentially everything I do, I sit at my desk with my computer running and have like music playing on

the computer in the background or anything like that. Yeah. So even when I'm reading, I'm still sitting essentially at my desk with the computer running. And so not having the computer running or not having the computer in the room at all. Just wouldn't work for me. Right. I got this. I will be different thing once I move to a, an apartment where I want to have

my own room for the essentially a. An office. I know where I'll just put the PC and the nice desk and maybe one or two other things. But once it's in there, I can just leave it on the whole night because that won't bother me. Right. Totally. I understand, man. Totally understand. I, you know, I thought a lot about our past discussions. When we were talking

about just letting it run and it made me think about DeFi. Have you been paying attention at all to anything going on in the DeFi space? I'm afraid not. Yeah. I haven't really either. Sovereign is a DeFi platform that works with Bitcoin. So I've been trying to look at that only because. You know, I'm not going to be able to do that. Pancake and sushi and

all these other things. The gas fees for Ethereum are so high that I just, I just wouldn't even try to dabble with that. You know. Yeah. Would you dabble with that? Yeah. No. I, I haven't really. Well, found, not found time. It's really at the wrong phrase. In my case. I've just been over the last couple of months. Really. I've been trying not to put too

much time into like, okay, what could I invest in? What might I shift existing investments to? What are the new technological advances? Like apart from no. I'm trying not to put too much of my time into the crypto space. Essentially, because it's not my job and I don't want it to be my job or my main hobby. But rather, I'm trying to think of things and

to spend my time in a way that make me a better person. Well, what I mean by that is essentially, if I learn something that I can then use somewhere else or that I consider like something that should become a knowledge. That is essentially what I consider making myself a better person. So when I read a classic book. Say Don Quixote or whatever, then I consider

that making myself a better person. And essentially, the at least quite a few things in crypto. Spending the time learning them will be only good if I can invest money in that space. But. Then the space again changes so quickly that the time spent learning one thing now will be time essentially wasted in a year or two. Just because the whole thing moves so quickly. And

in a year or two, there will be new technologies and all that, which is of course in itself, good thing. That space itself changes changes quickly and moves forward at a quite quick pace. But for the time. I would have to spend to actually be knowledgeable about these things and keep being knowledgeable all the time. It's just too much of a time investment for me right

now. And I think we all only have a very limited amount of time. In our lives. And so at this point, I prefer spending the time. And differently in a way that essentially the time I spend will be beneficial for me for a longer period of time. And not just the one or two years in which that technology is recent. Does that make any sense? Yes,

as a matter of fact, it does. Perfect. Yeah, it does. It is a very lazy Sunday here. It is raining today, which is the perfect time for a couple of fingers of bourbon and a cigar. What are your plans for the day, my friend? Well, mine was kind of a lazy Sunday also, although the sun is shining today. It did rain the last few days, though.

But I see we are thinking a kin because I just put myself with a little glass of scotch. So I will be at least joining in the whiskey. All right. Apart from that, really, I've already read a bit. I've said that at the piano a bit. And now I'll essentially just do a bit more of that. After this, after talking to you, more or less, I'd

say. Yeah, that sounds good, man. Hey, let's see if we can get floor back on for our next chat in June, if that's okay. Certainly. As I, I don't know if I said it last time, or if I just said it to you, or if I just said it to flow, my original plan was because my, my may was quite busy for a few weeks. And

so my original plan was, to just have floor talk with you this episode. But now flow has been even, has been, has been even busier than I've been. And now he's putting all his time into the swap development. And so, and now I've got a little more time again. So essentially, my original plan completely was swapped. And yeah, I really hope to get floor on next

time as well. Because if you're going to be able to get a little bit more, I'm going to be able to get a little bit more.
